What a lovely red coat from The Princess, it looks great. Such a hard worker, and so discreet about it.

Anne also wore that coat last week, March 9, when she attended the Grand Military Race Meeting
at Sandown Park Racecourse together with her husband Tim. She handed out awards and planted
a tree - with active support (pic 5)

Thank you for the pictures from 8 March, iceflower!
Princess Anne had quite a bit of support with that tree, didn't she?
I can't decide whether I like the hat she's wearing or hate it. Not my style but it kind of works for the Princess; in way, it looks like a really exaggerated version of her usual hairstyle.

I like the picture of her sniffing her bouquet and her hat does indeed look like an exaggerated version of her pouffed hairstyle. I guess it works for her and it will be one of those iconic hairdos that certain royals wear and will never change!

Me too - a nice and in some way very private moment - that one and the one with the kids had been my
favourites when choosing the ones to post
Anne attended the ladies day during day two of the Cheltenham Festival at Cheltenham racecourse today:

The group photo with the children is also very sweet. And I've often wondered when royal ladies get inundated with these bouquets if they literally stop to look at them and take a whiff. It's nice to see that Anne does that; a subtle sign of appreciation, I feel.

Do not care for her pumpkin colored outfit and hat that looks like it was made out of the remains of a black cat.

As you can see in the following gallery Tim Laurence attended as well, but as usual the photographers
were more interested in shots of Anne with Andrew Parker Bowles

Yesterday, March 23, Princess Anne has been the guest of honour at a ceremony to mark the centenary
of Captain Robert Falcon Scott's doomed expedition to the Antarctic. She joined family members and
descendants of the Terra Nova Expedition team at the rededication of the National Scott Memorial in
Plymouth, where the explorer was born.

Tally ho! Zara and her mother Princess Anne indulge their shared love of horses on a day at the races
Quote:
Zara Phillips and her mother the Princess Royal indulged their love for horses together as they spent the day at the races cheering on Anne's thoroughbred. The pair dressed casually in trousers and jackets, both donning sunglasses to shield their eyes from the blinding sun at Maisemore Park in Gloucestershire. Princess Anne wore a polo neck under her checked shirt to keep out the spring chill, with binoculars hung around her neck to ensure she got the best possible view.
|
There are a lot of comments in the article suggesting Zara may be pregnant, but I strongly doubt that to be the case; Zara is hoping to take part in the Olympics, so a pregnancy would be highly unlikely at this stage.

I love that picture of Anne facing the camera and smiling. She looks so relaxed and great in her casual wear. Anne and Zara look so alike; I really see their resemblance in the side-by-side photos. And I agree that there's little likelihood of any pregnancy given the upcoming Olympics for Zara.
Thanks for posting, Artemisia!
