Thank you very much for the pictures Iceflower, particularly the one with Timothy Laurence. I haven't seen a picture of him for ages! :flowers:

Good God they've let Tim out! He must be pleased.

He must have been a good boy this week.

 The Duke of Edinburgh once said, "If it doesn't eat hay or fart, Anne's not interested" - Tim must be a riot at a dinner party.

Philip does have a way with words, I'll give him that.

He'd be a riot if they let him talk. Methinks he doesn't get a word in edgewise.

It's so nice to see Timothy Laurence out with the Princess Royal. I've never thought it fair that only her brothers wives accompany the princes. I believe Mr. Laurence has been a good husband never seems to put a wrong foot forward. Maybe his own career is now coming to an end (meaning retirement) and hopefully can accompany the princess more.

Congrats to Tim! That's an amazing accomplishment and I'm sure his family is very happy for him. :)

Congratulations to Tim! :flowers:
Another article about his appointement:

Anne's Tim is in top ten of Navy

Princess Anne’s husband has been appointed a vice admiral.
Timothy Laurence, 51, is promoted from rear admiral — and is one of the ten most powerful men in the Royal Navy.

Why "Anne's Tim", it makes him sound like a horse!

That's funny skydragon it does make him sound like a horse. Why can't this poor man receive anything in his own merit. Many congrats to Tim on his promotion in the navy. Well done!
