People wanted to know what is "winter white." I didn't know how to explain so I looked on the web and fashionistas say it is creamier than just "white."
Anne's dress was pretty white. Grace's suit was more of a cream color. (Not that that clarifies it!) I don't know, it was just a big uproar. |

There's got to be photos here on this site showing the people at Anne's wedding. Right?

In some ways - especially in the above picture - her dress reminds me of Princess Leia's dress (Star Wars).

She is most definitely one of the hardest working Royals today.

Her body shape - which you can see when she rededicates the yacht - is simply amazing. Too bad she's really not into fashion and doesn't care at all about it because she could easily be the stunning princess she was when she was younger. Just a new haircut could do the trick.

Princess Anne looks fantasic for a women who just celebrated her 55th birthday. As far as I'm concerned she is the hardest working member of the royal family with the exception of the Queen. Her devotion to her country is well known .

Here are the best bits...
Princess Anne's and Cherie Mrs Blair's rift with Princess Anne is said to date back to 1997, when they met for the first time at Balmoral. The Princess Royal appeared to take an instant dislike to Mrs Blair after the Prime Minister's wife suggested she call her 'Cherie', the book claims. Princess Anne allegedly replied: "Actually, let's not go that way. Let's stick to Mrs Blair, shall we?" Cherie's dislike of dogs Cherie absolutely despises the creatures [The Queen's corgis]," said one source quoted in the book. 'She thinks it is disgusting that they hang around her feet (at mealtimes). Cherie's manner The Queen is said to be annoyed by Mrs Blair's 'hectoring legalistic tone'. Cherie mortified by singing Queen Mum The apparent tensions, however, did not stop the late Queen Mother inviting Mrs Blair to an afternoon tea party for her elderly women friends during a Balmoral holiday. According to Scott: "It was not just tea but a steady supply of sherry that was on offer to the titled OAPs. "The party began in a genteel enough manner, but as the afternoon progressed it steadily descended into a raucous singalong with the Queen Mother leading from the front and insisting that a mortified Cherie join in every tune." . |

http://www.femalefirst.co.uk/entertainment/93922004.htm I like this part: "She also said it was bizarre that when they yap a footman would have to escort them outside, wait for them while they went to the toilet, and scoop up what they left behind." The Queen Mother was so cute. Singing and stuff that is adorable. I would have been laughing to much to sing along. I always liked Cherie, I think she is a kind women, I understand the dislike of dogs, not everyone is a dog person. Maybe Princess Anne was having a bad day or was in a weird mood the day that PM Blair told her to call her Cherie instead of Mrs. Blair. You know women we have moods!

"Actually, let's not go that way. Let's stick to Mrs Blair, shall we?"
I think this is extremely sensible of HRH. (If it is true) I would do the same in her position - one never knows how long a PM and his wife will last in Number 10 and I wouldn't get too friendly with each PM because it would look bad to be friends with an ex-PM when the new PM came along! Remember also that the RF like to seem unpolitical. Being too overfriendly with Cherie may cause people to say that Princess Anne was a Blair supporter and after Cherie's wrong-doings and the the whole Iraq thing, I personally think that Anne is wise to take this stance. |

I wouldn't have minded being at the Queen Mother's sing-along, especially after a few drinks. She might have minded my singing, though!
The Blairs seem to have some interesting hobbies. On the whole, I would prefer not to have Mrs. Blair as my house guest. What a rude woman. (Maybe she should have consulted an allergist before going to Balmoral, or even told the Queen about her health condition. It's not like the corgis are a surprise to anybody!) |
