Marie, Athena and Felix + Marie and Felix + Nikolai and Athena
I love the one of Marie kissing Felix' head. Lovely photo.

Are these from the official photoshoot that the royals give in order to get the rest of their vacation in private?

Yes they are. The British Royals could do with perhaps doing this again. They used to do it when the York's and Wales' used to ski together, though I suppose it only looks cute when young children are involved. Can't really imagine William and Catherine with the Middleton's rolling around in the snow!

Me too. Nikolai and Felix seem to have a warm bond with Marie, which is lovely. The one of Nikolai and Athena is also cute.

You cannot call it exactly warm, but it is definitely a 'warm' moment by the BRF-1940s standards..

The then Princess Elizabeth with her little cousin (now deceased) Prince William of Gloucester, at the christening of his younger brother Prince Richard, now Duke of Gloucester.
Pretty nice one, though

The ones of Joachim, Marie and the kids are precious - all three pictures were among my favourite pictures from the photosession. Marie's relationship to her stepsons is really admirable and warm.
And the one of Nikolai with little Athena is just lovely as I mentioned in the other thread, he really seems to have inherited his mothers way with children.

Also quite a lot like Prince William, (of Wales), when he was that age.

Prince William of Gloucester had a very interesting life (a book has been written about him),it´s nice to see a picture of him when he was young!

I love the family shots of the Dutch royals. The girls are getting so big, and I love the smiles!
