Not to forget, even what they brought would be in the magazine, which is not a nice thing. Things should stay private. They have the right to enjoy time. I'm not in favor of showing anyone shopping...What's the matter of seeing people purchasing things? This is the typical "showing off" of our commercial times. And I also think that Royals must not be showed shopping. This is a "parvenu" thing. Of course, they have all the rights of buying what they want..But what's up with showing in doing it in photographies? I hope that some day, paparazzies wouldn't show Royals in the W.C....

None around to carry things ?

I see that many "Royals" carry their belongings themselves ! No single servant around to help with the load ??? :bb: Times have changed...

So what's the point of being a princess or a queen if you have to carry it all by yourself in a plastic bag ! :whistling:

Philippe and Mathilde are now the King and Queen of the Belgians.
This photograph shows Philippe when he was still Prince Philippe.
I like this photograph because it expresses a gentleman's concern for his wife's interest. It is expressing kindness. Philippe is a Prince, a Gentleman, and a King.
 
Queen Mary, spouse of King George V of England, attended all industrial fairs and home-furnishing expositions. Photographs were taken when she made a selection for Buckingham Palace such as an electric ice box.
