Look at her cheekbones also. It appears if some enhancement was done there also, and I don't mean blush or rouge.

You only have to look at her daugther Victoria to appreciate how beautiful Sylvia was. She is now what her mother was in her youth. Let's hope the resemblance ends there and Victoria ages with natural grace.

I also read that the DofC had confirmed she had had Botox. Also, and this applies to Princess Mary and all the others,if you can afford it,you can have extensive skin resurfacing treatments. My neighbour is a plastic surgeon in her 60's. Her partner combined an excellent lift with skin resurfacing. She doesn't look 20,but an attractive 50-good plastic surgery. Also, note that the above women have the money, the leisure, and the access to the best skin care and makeup treatments, and the incentive to make use of them.

I have to agree with you on this. On some pictures QN looks pretty, but on the picture you posted she looked, blah!

QN used to be a beautiful woman but know i don't even know what to call her: dummy? queen of nip/tuck?

it seems like her and Rania are competing in everything: power, popularity, botox, number of plastic surgeries

I definitely think she has had peels and/or fillers or botox as she looks a lot 'softer' than she did.

Fergie definitely got peels and botox and lips done, but also she did losea lot of weight which made her cheekbones more prominent. She won't get back with Andrew - not officially.

Exactly, very tight shiny skin, not a single, teeny weeny line in sight, bucket loads of make up and she looks very plain - she looked so much better maybe 3 years ago before all these procedures added up to the House of Wax figure we see standing on a podium these days

I know it has been commented on that QR's complexion s getting paler and paler but it makes sense if she has been getting chemical peels and stuff, because people have to use sunblock after wards to protect the vulnerable 'new' skin underneath.

It almost seems like nowadays a woman is cannot look good without incurring accusations of having had "something done".

Conversely if they do nothing there are accusations of looking terrible etc.

Personally I think every little bit helps: hairdo, make-up, dress and yes, medical help (botox, surgery etc) if it makes you feel better, more confident esp for people in the public eye - as long as it does not descend into madness ( e.g. Michael Jackson)

To me, it looks like Madeleine has had a little work done on her nose. Maybe you guys will see it differently but it her nose then and now looks considerably different.

I read somewhere that Queen Sonja tried some botox but her face looked like frozen and she decided to stop it.

It's quite evident that Queen Silvia has had some work done, she doesn't look bad, but her eyes are completely inexpressive, it's a pity because some years ago she had a very expressive eyes.

Hmmm.. her nose really looks different... but maybe it just changed naturally.
My cousin's nose changed totally between the of 16 and 17 ...
who knows...

I don't know about Sonja... In the 90's her face looked like plastic (Botox maybe)... but I don't think she uses it anymore..(even if she doesn't look like a 70 years old woman)

You're entitled to your opinion ofcourse but I still think its very unkind of you. And unfair.
I dont know the extent of what she has had done to her face but she's a very elegant woman who gets more regal with age.
As far as I can tell, she may have had lips injected with botox. But it hasn't disfigured her or anything like that. If she appears a little odd in some pics it might be due to the swelling that results after proceedures of that sort. Infact in the more recent pics of earlier this year, she looks stunning.
They put Restelyn in the lips not botox. Part of aging is that your lips lose their fullness over time. This leads to the stereotypical little old lady with the lipstick color bleeding out of wrinkles around the mouth. The Restelyn replaces what time has taken away. The Botox is put in the 'crows feet' around the eyes and the furrows in the forehead and between the brows. If it is done properly, it does take 10 years off. Also, because you unlearn the mannerism that created the wrinkles, they dont get worse.
