Are you saying that you think Sofia has had cosmetic surgery of some sort? Or just that her face has changed?

I think that over three decades anyone's face would change. In Sofia's case, during the 60s she was a young mother and by the 80s the mother of young adults.

I think the fact that her face has changed at all is a good sign that she hasn't had plastic surgery. If she had, likely there would be minimal change from her physical appearance during the mentioned three decade span.

Noo way... she was too beautiful and natural (and self confident!) for that.

I think it's ok if all these women have some 'job' done on their faces. In some ways, they're like models but not for fashion houses but for their country. Their faces get pictured millions of times a day and plastered on magazines etc...they're entitled to a certain degree of vanity - hey! they're all women!

it was said that some used botox as the duchess of cornwall (confirmed), princess michael (partially confirmed) and mary of denmark.

I don't believe for one minute that Mary of Denmark used botox. Why would she? She is still a young (and very pretty) woman.
When was Camilla's alleged use of botox confirmed, I highly doubt that she used it.

I don't know about botox, but compare the old pics of Camilla and you will see that she had a serious face correction, I mean her features, she became much nicer for last two years :)

We don't deal in rumours at the Royal Forums. Carlotta please provide a link to the source of your information regarding these women's use of botox within twenty-four hours or delete your post.

Has, Pendennis wonders, safe in the knowledge that a knighthood was never his for the taking, Camilla Parker Bowles had surgical assistance? Photographer Alison Jackson, who has taken a series of lookalike portraits of the Duchess of Cornwall, is convinced CPB has had Botox treatment. 'I have spent a great deal of time studying photos of Camilla in order to get her look just right. There is no doubt that she has had work done,' Jackson tells Pendennis. 'Until recently, her face was heavily wrinkled. Now, look how the creases have disappeared from the area around her eyes, and her face has all been smoothed out. That must be Botox.' And Pendennis thought it was just a great hairdo.

It has never been "partially confirmed" that HRH the Crown Princess of Denmark has undergone botox treatment. I'm sorry, but that is made up!

I remember when she married charles, I saw a program on television about them and part of it was about her changing style. The stylists said they they had significantly softened the look and colours of her make-up and clothes, and changed her hair colour to a much softer blonde rather than the ashen type she had before. You could see that all this made a significant difference to her appearance. Maybe thats the reason.

And CP Mary is only in her early 30s. Much too young too need anyhting like botox.

I am not so naive so that do not see an evident difference between past and present :p Of cousre, the new make up and hair style helped her to become more feminine, but they are not able to change the nose, jaw-ones etc so drastically...I like these changes, they are for the better :) She should think about her appearance softening much earlier.

Bear in mind that you don't need to be in your 50s to have botox. Prevention is better than cure. A surgeon won't refuse botox as long as you're over 18 or 16 with parental consent. Believe me - I know....

in documentaries that i've seen doctors suggest starting botox in your thirties for maximum results. one doctor says his biggest "sucess story' was with a woman who started at 26. that's horrible of course but that's the way things are.

mary's appearance has changed unbelievably since her early days of dating Fred and these days with cosmetic surgery being so common when people's appearances change i'm always strongly inclined to believe they went under the knife.

As vain as I am even I couldn't do botox - a friend had it done and she looked frozen. It was actually quite unsettling to see her face stay so still all the time.

Nowadays it is very popular among young beautiful women already in their late twenties to start to use botox to PREVENT wrinkling. Thus they will be able to keep a wrinklefree fohead.
