Royals' Ex-Partners

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Since everyone knows that they were a couple, it's not a big deal if Chelsy talks about Prince Harry in a general way (not talking about anything personal). I imagine she probably got his approval before talking about him (I would think one would want to do this to keep in good with him).

It would be less chaotic if Harry and Chelsy had met today, I think. Of course, these are different times. Since Leveson, and due to sheer economics, you just wouldn't get the dozen papparazi following celebrities everywhere they go in the same way as they did a decade ago. The bottom has dropped out of the market.

It's true that they have been replaced by pesky people holding cell phones in their paws but at least they're (hopefully) not shouting insults in order to get a reaction. Harry and Chelsy had a rather unstable sort of relationship anyway, but I do think they met at the wrong stage in their lives when too many other things were going on.

There's been speculation on Twitter etc that Chelsy coming out and talking about Harry in this way signals that they might be getting back together. I disagree. I think it's purely a commercial decision to sell her jewellery and she got his OK first. As for starting over, though, Chelsy's too freedom loving to want a life in the Royal fold and so those problems would remain. That ship has sailed, I'm afraid.

:previous: So here we go with the ex rebound stories. :whistling:

He helped her as she passed him to get to her seat, they weren't even sitting together. I guess we can be expecting any men being gentleman in her vicinity to suddenly be her possible new beau:ermm:

Seeing them together makes me and odd effect, but it is a good thing that they seem to be on cordial terms. Why shouldn't they?

Some people say Kate looks older, but these pics don't do the ex girlfriends any favours.

Too much partying, I think.

Chelsy has always has had a 'harder' look to her (kinda like Camilla) and not that 'pretty'. The other two don't appear to be any worse for wear despite any partying going on.

:previous: I agree. The smoking is the worst part of it I think. That and tanning. Terrible for the skin.

All I can think is: do people in the UK actually care about her?

Besides the few random pap shots, she hardly gets any attention and the attention she does get is because of her ex.

Yes, I think even the Daily Fail has gradually given up. Unless Cressida does something spectacular or dreadful in the future she'll be forgotten soon, I suspect.

It seems to me that a lot of people DO care about H's 2 ex girlfriends, to a degree I simply can't understand. Not sure if they are all UK people who care, but a many people seem to go on hating one girl and cheering on the other, or disliking both of them...And I can't understand why. I'm sure they are OK girls, and no harm in them but they are not H's girls any longer.. the relationships are long since ended.. He's not into them any more, and is probably just friendly with them.. and why go on about them?

Cressida is not referencing pap shots imo. She seems to be referencing artistic freedom and being accepted on her merits as an actor: "It means I feel free to walk into a meeting and be a blank canvas. That's what you want as an actor."

Is Cressida Bonas a blank canvas to any film or TV producer or casting director she meets who may be thinking of putting her in one of their productions, though? I don't think it is particularly Cressida so much as any long term ex of a senior Royal.

Koo Stark, once a model and bit part (soft porn) actress, comes to mind. To anyone who meets her for the first time I would guess that, even decades after she dated Prince Andrew, he's the first thing that comes to people's minds (at least people in middle age) rather than anything she's done in her career since, unfair though that may be. Admittedly for Cressida the '15 minutes of fame' seems to be passing rather more speedily.

Maybe she's been kicking someone! Bubble still friendly with her, I see!

Olivia Perry. She has very well-connected friends. The Yorkies, Chelsy's set, was a guest at the Missy Percy wedding. She's been around for ever. According to one story Harry heard that Bubble was leaking stories about C and himself and wanted Chelsy to drop her but she didn't.

This is a very old article but shows Chelsy and Bubble in the party years.

Thank you Curryong. I went to her Instagram and see that she has lots of photos with Chelsy:

Chelsy has said the media attention was terrifying at the time and while Cressida grew up in aristrocratic surroundings, William apparently and indeed unsuccessfully chased her sister during the break with Kate before their final collage year, dating a prince proved a step too far for the dancer and actress. But there was also the age gap, which narrows with the years so have not completely given up on them yet! Although with little hope!

Speaking at the Henley Literary Festival, which is sponsored by the Daily Mail, Ingrid Seward, who has written several books about the Royals, said that the 27-year-old actress 'couldn't take it' when she found herself being judged by total strangers.

She said: 'A friend of mine's daughter went out with Prince Harry, Cressie, the most gorgeous girl, she just said it was awful because every time she walked down the street she could hear people criticising her.

'They would whip out their phones and take photos of her. They'd say "oh look at her hair", "oh look at her clothes, look at her boots, she hasn't got her laces done up", I mean this is just a normal, pretty girl and she just couldn't take it. She just thought "why are they getting at me".'

:previous: And such is another fine example how horrible it would be to live in a royal fishbowl. No matter how amicable Bea and Dave's split was, it can't be easy to see him plastered all over every tabloid with someone else. :bang:
