these are some pictures of King Juan Carlos with people:

I think one of the best things the Spanish Royal Family has ever done for their people:
http://img384.imageshack.us/img384/5118/r10127447st.jpg

The Spanish and Dutch royals are (in my opinion) the closest to their people and their needs, you would never see QEII doing the kind of things Queen Sofia or Queen Beatrix do...

I understand if you have to delete (my) Mathilde's photo. The problem is that I have no idea where I took that photo from. Whenever I find a pic I love I save it for the computer. That's how I got this pic:o .
Regards,
mtbcm :)

I don't know if it helps mtbcm, but the picture has been posted on this forum before. I know it's been posted in Part 7 on news of Philippe and Mathilde. Don't think there was a source for the picture then either, but I'm not sure.

During a State Visit to Spain in May 2001, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg paid a visit to a Child Hospital, with Queen Sofia of Spain.

Arriving at the Hospital

Here Queen Sofia helps a little boy with his puzle, and receives a thank you smile when leaving.

And the Grand-Duchess showed she is a hands(and heart)-full mum.

Comforting / Drawing / Playing

(whenever I see the first pic I get the impression that GD Maria Teresa had been crying)
