Royal Education

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Crown Prince Haakon of Norway graduated in 1999 from the University of California, Berkeley with a B.A. in Political Science. UC Berkeley seems like a perfect fit for Haakon. I have several friends who went there and they loved it, even though Berkeley is terrible neighborhood, the school is amazing. Lovely grounds, outstanding Prof.'s, etc.

He then went on then went on to the University of Oslo as well as the London School of Economics.

Ali attended Deerfield Academy for ayear but didn't graduate. He was recently presented with an honorary diploma as a member of the class 2006.

Iman studies at Fay School in Massachusetts, later Maret School in Washington DC. She joined the Sandhurst in 2002 and finshed on 8 August 2003.

Thanks for the corrections, I haven't read anything to suggest Ali went to Sandhurst, it would seem he's the only member of the JRF not to complete his education.

This is interesting. I wonder how they decide which university to attend. I'm sure that some may follow in their parents' or siblings' footsteps, but I would be interested to know how those who do not do this pick their university?

i knew he attended Sandhurst because I have seen a photo of Ali, King Hussein and Queen Noor when he "passed out" of Sandhurst. Iman and Raiyah were still very young then. ;) i think King Abdullah and Queen Rania were in the photo too.

Oh right, thanks, I thought he must have been to Sandhurst but I didn't see anything about it.

Sandhurst seems to be a very popular choice among many royal males. I wonder if there is another military academy that comes close to the prestige of Sandhurst?

According to Ali's biography on Prince Haya's website

The Official Website of HRH Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein - The Royal Hashemite Family

Ali graduated in 1993 from Salisbury School in Connecticut and joined then the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and was commissioned as an Officer in December 1994.
Following Sandhurst, Prince Ali studied the philosophy of politics and religious mysticism at Princeton and Columbia University in the United States. He also took a course in Islamic Sharia Law.

I never read about Princess Alexandra (countess now) getting a diploma. All I've ever read, even on her own webpage is she attended. Also, I don't know if CP Frederick actually got a diploma either. I know CP Mary did and so did Marie Caliver.

Prince William attended and graduated St. Andrews in Scotland

There is no evidence that confirms Alexandra as a college/university graduate. Marie Cavallier did not earn a degree. She only attend classes briefly in Boston and New York.

Rania did not graduate from the American University. She graduate from The American University in Cairo. Two very different schools with no affiliation at all.

Princess Education

Good morning,

I am building a conceptual model on woman identity and princess education is a cornerstone in it. Can you tell me which are the 10 most important characteristics of princess education?

Best wishes of health, happiness and welfare,

Academic Royals

Are there any royal university professors?

HRH Pieter van Vollenhoven of the Netherlands is a professor of risk management at a university in the Netherlands.

I would imagine that there are others, but I don't know for sure.
