Le Rosey is like one of the leading private schools in the world and it's located in Switzerland. A lot of children of wealthy people such as royals, hedge fund managers, and international diplomats go there. It's uber-expensive and top-of-the-line. I think Prince Guillaume or Prince Felix went there.

Yes, many many years ago! All members of my family male/female attended Le Rosey or La Combe (for girls, now all together) since the foundation of these 2 schools...

Default Le Rosay-A Private School

Thank you for this thread. Now I enjoy reading about the subject helped by the link Rubyprincess 168 has posted. There is an article in Wikipedia with links to the official site and others with multimedia contents. It's an exclusive school, but a general information like this is necessary to understand the background of the elite. Afterall we're in the same world and they show being interested in the future of it.

How sad. They listed Delphine Boel as "designer- illegitimate daughter of King Albert II of the Belgiums."
Why would they list her as that? Why not leave it as designer. Or find another way to say that she is his daughter. That particular word has such a stigma attached to it, an it makes me mad that in this particular situation, they actually used it to describe who she is!!

I'm sorry but it's fact that she is the illegitimate daughter of King Albert, and because of that she will always be known as that above being a artist.

Prince Michael was educated at Sunningdale School and Eton College, Prince Michael entered the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, in January 1961.
Princess Alexandra was educated at Heathfield School near Ascot.

Here is an interesting interview with the Directors and owners of Le Rosey.
I found this rather interesting......
Let me ask an indelicate question, but it is always out there in cyber-world as to some of the students who attend Le Rosey. When I was at Rosey, there were two boys, nice guys, whose father happened to be the head of the secret police in a corrupt Caribbean nation -- not such a nice guy. Or there could be the children of a reputed drug czar attending Le Rosey. Is that ever a concern?

Never. We do not put the sins of the parents or the family on the child. We don’t care what the parents did or do. As long as the parents share the vision and values of Le Rosey, and what we are trying to do, their child is welcome.

What a smooth talker! It's worrying how money can shape or even distort good sense.
