Hi,
Iīve spent quite some time only reading, but right now I would like to raise a question that has been bothering me for years. Itīs about fertility tests. A German documentary about famous couples brought it up again: On Tuesday, they had this documentary about Grace Kelly and Rainier. They mentioned that Gracia had to undergo a fertility test. I also heard that maybe Mary and also Letizia had to endure such procedures. Donīt get me wrong - I surely understand the background of those testings: They have to make sure that one day, thereīs an heir to the crown. But then again I think that something like that is discrimination and far beyond everything which is promoted as "political correctness". Crown Princess Victoria is fighting against prejudices regarding dyslexia and eating disorders because these are problems that can occur to everybody and you shoudnīt be blamed for. But when youīre not fertile, itīs also something you canīt be blamed for... Iīm just trying to imagine how difficult it is if youīre not allowed to marry someone you love just because you canīt "produce" children... What is your opion? Do you feel comfortable with this procedure? Do you think itīs appropriate, and if so, why? Well, I have to say that I would like Royals to set an example - why not adopting a child? And because of that I really like Mette Maritīs family. At first, I didnīt like her much, but I begin to realize that they are a positive example of a modern family everybody can identify with. |

well, i think it's pardonable. child is a very important part of a family. many couple divorce cos the wife/husband can't have a child.---i heard rumours that brad pitt divorced jennifer cos she doesn't want to have a child. i think to some people adopting children is much different from having children of their own, esp. for royals.---not that i'm against adopting, but i think it's pardonable from their point of view
if a CP is in love with someone who can't have children, they can always give up right of succession. if the CP gives u up just because you can't have children, that means he doesn't love you deep enough. i think it's appopriate cos producing heirs have always been regarding part of the responsibility of the CPs...

Quote:
i read US magazine many times about Brad Pitt and his ex-wife Jennifer A wanted to have children really bad and Brad Pitt told Primetime live about that and both wanted have children and both got divorces already. i dont think CP cant get love with someone and have baby with man who had affair that not fair! and if CP will lose CP that it if its would be true or not if wife still in love with their husband lots! and more baby than stranger you know that Prince Edward's wife had lost baby years ago and she tried for pregnant first time at IVF and she collaspe at her home bagshot and both couples wanted to trying getting pregnant for second time but i dont think its would good idea for Sophie,Countess of Wessex to have more children and Sophie wanted get without IVF or must wait and see what happened.
