Prince Claus, the husband of Dutch Queen Beatrix, is being laid to rest in the royal family vault in Delft. Prince Claus was one of the most popular members of the Dutch Royal Family.
Prince Claus of Netherlands died October 6, 2002 at the age of 76. Doctors at the Amsterdam Medical Centre say he died of Parkinson's disease and pneumonia. He was admitted to the hospital's intensive care unit two weeks ago with a lung infection.

When they started to carry the coffin down and they played a part of the Requiem of Mozart! It was just too much. It was by far the most touching royal event I've seen. Especially because prince Claus always has been one of my favourite members of the DRF.
