I was outside the palace today and i think Mette-Marits outfit is very nice as well.There were some really high heels she had!It look like that from a distance...

and well, Mette-Marit looks beautiful here too. She's wearing a similar hair-piece like on the Japanese state visit last year (but with different flower style).

I thought Haakon already received the spanish order, but why doesn't he wear one when greeting the spanish royal couple?

Wow, Sofia is simply gorgeous today! And the hat is awesome! We don't see Spanish ladies wearing hats too ften And M-M looks also lovely.

i am looking forward for gala pictures. hopefully mette-marit wears a tiara apart from her wedding tiara and the amethysts. i can't see them anymore. they are beautiful but something new would be great

Very simple: King Harald received his spanish order/s years ago, and
he wore it for his state visit to Spain in 1995. CP Haakon (as well as the Crown Princess) was installed with his one after the welcoming ceremony today inside the palace, so he couldn´t wear it before.
It´s been only announced that Haakon will receive the order on the occasion of this day´s state visit

Video of the welcomming ceremony, you can see it is sofia who looses something and then Haakon and MEtte-Marit pics it up, usually school classes are invited to greet the main guest, because of strict security this was not allowed to day, a pitty that i has come to that, but really alot of people at the palace square, more than usual

Great pictures, and great outfits!
I have to say that I like all Lady's outfits so far!

Princess M-M's light blue dress suits her alot. The shoes look amazing! (wonder where she got them )
Queen Sofia looked great too. I love that black hat, as I said before!
And Queen Sonja looked wonderful, too! This colour looks great on her! I have to say that I like the outfit without that Hat more.

And of course, the MaleRoyals looked all really handsome. Especially Haakon.

Gosh, you can really see how tall Mette-Marit is in the official pictures. I know she has heels on, but she towers over the women and is as tall as or taller then the men. All the women look great! Who is the lady in the black and white skirt in the official photos?
