Hi,

could someone tell me at which time and where it is possible to see the royal family at the Nationalday? Is it only at the castle? And at which time?

Is there something else interesting to experience on this day in Oslo?

I know that the royal family celebrates every May 17 a parade in the royal palace. And HAAKON AND METTE MARIT preside at it from Skaugum, their residence, the same day. They will be presents in both acts. Ingrid already appears in the royal palace, so then, she will be queen some day. And I believe that for the norwegian is a beautiful experience and a day interesting.

Thanks, the pictures are lovely! This might be a silly question but will Hakon and Mette marits children be present? I notices Hakon and his sister present years ago when they were still kids, so maybe their children will be there as well?

usually Ingrid Alexandra is presented, but who knows maybe Sverre and Marius will appear this year.

anyway the whole crownprince's family greets the parade in Skaugum every year.

It's only the royal house appearing at the palace balcony, according to the programme on the website - the king, the queen, crown prince, crown princess and hereditary princess.
