I think Queen Sonja's outfit was way to sombre for such a happy occasion. There should be come colours with this kind of happy and elegant occasion. Maybe Crown Princess Mette-Marit had planned to contribute with the colours, but since she's ill - the colour had to stay at home...  I think Wanghari Maathai herself looked wonderful in her Aftican dress!

Yes,the colour Queen Sonja wear this year is dark.I do not know why she wear that?She has a lot more outfits.

Yes,Maathai looks very colourful and nice in African clothes.She is nice,she has done good things so she can receive the Award.
