What was said in the interview? I liked MM look, she seemed and still seems the same which really like. Her make up was too plain imo but liked the hair.

Anp pictures from the engagment.

this would be a nice picture of the couple without the watermark - picture
Lovely picture of the couple looking at each other - picture

I did not like her engagemant outfit.Too boring and bland. Her ring is nice though it is not anything special.

As far as I know the ring is a heirloom that was already given to Sonja Haralden by Crown Prince Harald. I think Crown Princess Märtha also wore this ring.

These photos were taken before the engagement, Haakon wanted so demonstrate, that his love for Mette-Marit is serious, and the press should leave in peace Mette-Marit and her family, friends etc. (very romantic, how he protected MM also before the engagement:

Behind that happy ending, there was a lengthy negotiation. The couple had to sign a prenuptial agreement of separation of property in which it is stipulated that, in the event of divorce, Mette-Marit will leave the Shaugum estate, where the Royal Family has their residence, without property, as it arrived. The document also specifies that his son Marius will not have any right to the crown and that he will not be adopted by Haakon, to avoid problems.

Why was it needed to stipulate that Marius would not have any right to the crown. Of course, he didn't.

And why even consider adopting him if he still had a father? I don't think other stepparents would normally adopt a child from a previous marriage if the other parent is still alive and an active part of the child's life.

We don't actually know that it did since it's just gossip from a magazine.

But if it did then it's probably just to be extra cautious, legally speaking, in a very unusual situation. At this point IA and SM weren't born yet and there was speculation about just how it was going to work with an older brother/son who was part of the family on a personal level but not an official, royal one.

Some stepfathers do end up adopting their "bonus kids" for whatever reason, even if a biological parent is still alive.

Where can we see this prenuptial agreement?

I assume the public can't because it's a private legal document between the individuals concerned and their lawyers.

Not as far as I know. "Ekskjæreste" is not gender-specific.

Weird title from this newspaper. Does any norwegian can talk about this?

expojkvänner, as they write it in this article, is a male person.

As a Norwegian, I have grown up with the Magazine Se og Hør ( my mum always bought it), and you have to take a pinch of salt, cos they write anything to sell it. This story about Mette Marit is just old crap and I have lost count how many times they have actually written about it. The story is about MM's past, and that her ex boyfriend ( who is 14 year older than MM) have some compromising photos of MM. Before the wedding he required 8 Mill norwegian kroner from the Palace to destroy the photos. Anyway the King and MM getting this idea that MM should talk about her past on TV, which is did.

And exactly 20 years ago they were visiting WTC.

I imagine how the hearts of King Harald, Queen Sonja, Sven Hoiby and Marit Tjessem jumped up when next day they heard/saw what had happened...
