I sent this to the journo in question;
"I believe a correction is in order - Claus von Amsberg was NOT a member of any Nazi organisation at the time of his marriage and therefore Queen Beatrix did NOT marry a Nazi".
Let's see if they'll bother.

What a bloody nonsense. They let the succession go through Wurttemberg, and our Queen Sophie. Well, Queen Sophie had 3 sons died without issue. The article assumes that Sohpie's husband could pass the title to his daughter from a second marriage: Queen Wilhelmina. Nonsense as it would go 'back' to her half sister princess Katherine of Wurttemberg, who was married to a cousin: prince Friedrich of Wurttemberg. After hat the succession would be:
- King Wilhelm II of Wurttemberg
- Princess Pauline of Wied
- Prince Hermann of Wied
- Prince Friedrich Wilhelm of Wied
- Prince Alexander of Wied (who renounced his rights in 2000)
- Prince Carl of Wied, who is married to princess Isabelle of Isenburg.
