HM was on a working visit to the St.Jansdal hospital,Harderwijk today.
The visit was in the frame of innovation in healthcare.

Smart innovation can improve both the working process and the quality of care.
The hospital is the first connected with electronical medicin-files through a national network.

HM Queen Beatrix has send a message of condolence and sympathy to the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia,Quentin Bryce.

Meanwhile over 170 people have perished and over 1.000.000 animals have also died in the fires.

Too horrible.

HM Queen Beatrix and President Dmitry Medvedev of Russia will officially open the Hermitage Amsterdam on june 19th.

The Hermitage St.Petersburg's Amsterdam branche will open with a stunning exposition on Court life in the 19th century
and contain 1800 artifacts,(among which there will be 150 Court dresses alone),and Catherine the Great's State Coach,
as well as Nicky's fancy ball costume and his mothers,Marie Feodorvna',Coronation robes.

One wing will make you feel a guest during an Audience with the Tsar, another wing welcomes you as a guest on a Court Ball
while court dresses and stunning uniforms, gems & jewelry on display on turning plateaux surround you.

Never before have there been so many top pieces in one exposition abroad,so that alone makes it absolutely unique.Just to
accommodate Catherine the Great's State Coach they've made a hole in the roof to lift the marvel inside as well as several
other larger pieces

A must see.

The Hermitage will open to the general public on june 20th and will remain open for 36 hours during the White Night Festival
while there will constantly be concerts and performances inside and outside in either the halls, rooms and beautifull inner court
garden or the quai at the Amstel river in the front.
