-Edward the Confessor- he reclaimed the throne for the house of Wessex after the death of his half-brother.
*married Edith Godswin- marriage was childless and her brother Harold succeeded for a short time

-Goda- married Drogo of Mantes and had 3 sons. Later married Eustace II, Count of Boulogne, marriage was childless. One of her sons died in captivity of William the conqueror. The Sudeley family were her descendants through her son Ralph. A third son died in infancy.

Her children with Cnute:

-Harthacnut- the first of her sons to take the throne. He took the throne after the death of his half brother Harold. he died of a stroke at a wedding. He was succeeded by his older half brother Edward in England, and by Magnus in Norway.
