Many years ago I remember seeing an amzing photo in the press of nine or ten members of the family jumping all at the same time. I remember Princes Abdullah, Ali, Hamzah, Hashim, Talal and Rashid, and Princess Aisha for sure, and some other family members as well. I am sure that had to be some kind of royal family record for any royal family. I also remember reading on that occasion that the first member of the JRF to get his paratrooper wings was Prince Hassan. I don't think King Hussein was a paratrooper . Can anyone clarify ?

BLITZER: And your son is now effectively the crown prince?

ABDULLAH: No. He is only 10 years old. And the way that the system has been done is that the role of crown prince will not be filled. Depending on circumstances, if anything should happen, there are instructions and there's a system in place, where the most capable of my brothers will be the one who is responsible to continue the process.

BLITZER: I hope none of that is necessary. I hope you live many, many happy and wonderful years.

ABDULLAH: That's very kind of you.

Was wondering the same...but i think he has finals now,so he might be back in the states...even if he is,x-mas holiday starts Dec.20th so he might be back by then.

that's for sure, I'm often thinking of KH and wonder how can his own son KA not care a bit about him overidding his promise to his dying father, I think that's a terrible thing to do, your dying father trusts u, and he askd u to do something, u do it 'cos u want your ppl's approval, u want to show them u deserve to be King, that your father, who's still so loved and missed by his ppl, was right when he thought u were the best for the post, then, after 5 years, u feel u are self- assured, u want ppl, that's what most newspapers and even ppl who work with KA think, so u want every1 in Jordann to forget KH, u want to make sure they know u are the King, that your father is now in the past, so u dismiss your brother, 1 who resembles so much to your father, and who was about to get back to Jordan gor good, and was already giving speeches as CP- a very mean person, very unpleasant 1.When he gave the interview to NYT he never mentioned the fact that the CP title was only honorary, he could not, he has only recently thought of this silly excuse.
