Amman, Feb. 23 (Petra) -- His Royal Highness Prince Feisal bin Al Hussein, special assistant to the chairman of the joint chiefs-of-staff, on Tuesday received a delegation from the British House of Commons Defence Committee.
 
Regent meets US delegation
Amman, March 30 (Petra)--His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein, the Regent, received at the General Headquarters of the Jordan Armed Forces on Wednesday, a US congressional delegation led by Senator Claire McCaskill.

Talks during the meeting dealt with means to forge closer ties between Jordan and the United States as well as a number of issues of common interest.

The meeting was attended by a number of senior army officers as well as the US ambassador to Jordan.

Prince Faisal opens SOFEX 2016 conference

Amman, May 9 (Petra) - HRH Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein, on Monday, patronized the opening of the Middle East Special Operations Commanders Conference (MESOC) held in conjunction with SOFEX in the presence of the King's Adviser for Military Affairs, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Mashal Mohammad Al Zabin, officials and military commanders from countries participating in the fair.

In a speech, Al Zabin said: "This year's exhibition coincides with the Kingdom's celebrations of the Great Arab Revolt centennial, Jordan's most important stage in history." The army chief spoke about traditional and non-traditional threats facing the international community and the need to address them with the use of advanced technology.
