Prince Ali presents case for headscarf in football at FIFA ExCo meeting
TOKYO - During the FIFA Executive Committee meeting in Tokyo, FIFA Vice President representing Asia, HRH Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein presented the case for a review of the interpretation of the Laws of the Game regarding the wearing of a safe, velcro-opening headscarf (by players and officials) which covers the neck; and to seek A favorable reconsideration of the issue by International Football Association Board (IFAB) at the earliest opportunity.
