The Wittstock Family

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Mrs. Melina Premiere, I'm catholic and, as many Catholics did, I had a nuptial mass even if I did't belong to any Royal Family.

Well, if a nuptial mass is not compulsory, then I guess it is the choice of the bridal couple.

Blessing or mass, it is the personal choice of the couple, it cannot be discuted

Gareth is catholic, he is married with a catholic woman and he is the godfather of Gabriella. he is the uncle of the child and he has the right to be it.

I think that the aim of a forum is to exchange personal point of view! In here there's a kind of "one man show". If you think like this "one man show" it's ok otherwise you will repeated to exhuations its idea is the right one!

Yes I know a full mass isn't necessary but my point is that it is the full spiritual scenario on offer and I would have thought that a catholic convert would have especially desired this, especially when he is marrying a fellow catholic.

I agree...I find it a bit odd that a Catholic couple-especially with one of them a recent convert- would choose to marry outside of the Nuptial Mass. But maybe they preferred the informality of an outdoor ceremony?

The setting looked spectacular.

And the bride is very beautiful even thought I didn't care for her dress much at all.

My thoughts on what I've seen in the pictures - everyone looks very happy and like they're having fun.

I don't like Roisin's dress, I think it looks cheap (I'm sure it wasn't), from my old-fashioned viewpoint female guests don't wear any shade of white, cream, ivory and mother-in-laws don't wear black (however chic it may look).

I find it a bit weird they sold/gave the pictures of their wedding to a magazine.
They always struck me as a discreet family.

The wedding looked beautiful though. Nice setting. I like hairdo of the bride.

Oh, such sad news, and so shortly after her birthday. Condolences to her entire family.

She lived a very long life and had the joy of seeing her granddaughter become Princess Consort of Monaco and the mother of twins.

That must have made her immensely proud....RIP.

I'm sad to hear this news! We heard about her on this forum not so long ago! I just hope she was able to see all of her great-grandchildren, but I fear not. May she rest in peace.

Sean Wittstock, younger brother of P Charlene, and his wife Chantel recently became parents to Aiva - Grace, a little sister to brother Raigen. According to Chantel she and her husband liked the name Aiva and P Charlene suggested adding the name Grace.

They have some adorable children :flowers:

Seems odd that Charlene would recommend her niece be named for her MIL she never met :ermm: She didn't even name her daughter Grace.

Congrats to the parents, the big brother and the rest of the family.:)

Maybe because someone else in the immediate family, Jazmin, was already named for P Grace? But I think the name has quite a nice ring to it. Gareth's daughter also has a double barreled name, Kaia - Rose.

I don't think Albert's illegitamite daughter having the middle name Grace, would rule out Gabrielle having it as well. I am sorry I just don't see her going to her brother and saying 'name her for my mother in law'. :ermm:

Maybe they didn't name the girl after P Grace per se? Maybe just a name she/they like. Many little girls in SA bear the name Grace. Or maybe she was even named after the wife of late Pres Mandela!!

What a touching tribute by Mike Wittstock and the male choir. In this way they represent all South Africans who were deeply touched by this tragedy and who feel the deepest sympathy for the victims and the French people.

Gareth Wittstock, Princess Charlene's brother, took part in the Yacht Club of Monaco, on February 22, in the draw for the attribution of horses to the associations that are the beneficiaries of the second edition of the "Price" race. Princess Charlene of Monaco - Charity Race ".
On this official race of galloping, which will take place on February 24, each horse will be associated, by lot, with a charity. Twenty horses start at a distance of 1600 meters.

Do we know if Princess Charlene will be there like last year?

.

Here's a video report about the Princess Charlene of Monaco Prize Race last weekend:

Have Gareth and his wife split? I've been wondering since he turned up by himself at National day. I also haven't seen him with her since and he's not wearing his wedding ring anymore.

Gareth and his wife Roisin had their first son and second child Bodhi somewhere in November 2017.
She is probably busy with her two young children, Kaya-Rose and Bodhi.
