Yes he would make a fantastic father. I'm so excited 4 the day (if ever) he anounces his engangement. I don't think many will question his decision because I think most want to see him happy.:)

Yes, I agree most want to see him happy. But, I know a lot of very happy single people. It's really a personal choice. Fame, money, title, I'm not sure that matters so much when it comes to marriage. Both of my best friends are single, one in a long term relationship that is not headed to the alter (they are very happy together however). And the other just sort of seems to enjoy the single life, her male friends and the freedom to do as she likes.

You need to start talking to my family and friends...;) You're right it is all personal choice and one of the greatest things about being the "universal aunt" is you get to enjoy the nieces/nephews/godchildren without having to deal with the diapers/illnesses/meltdowns/tantrums, etc.

Regarding topless, you can't even imagine how common it is in France unless you've been there and seen it yourself; I'd say more than a half of the French women on the French riviera are topless on the beach, women of every age, and looks...I was shocked, not morally, but by how diffused is this habit there: mums with little kids, older women, teens; so, it is quite normal to stay topless on a boat for a young attractive woman...

Albert at his graduation with a strange pair of glases ;) :)

(HELLO)

Those big oversized glasses were necessary for those of bad sight. The smaller sleeker glasses are only possible for those needed stronger prescriptions in the last ten years.

However, I still keep my big ones because the little ones don't cover the whole sight area. Its funny, you couldn't get little sized glasses for cheap only five years ago and last month I had to pay an additional $20US to have lenses made for my big frames.

I think Albert looks better in bigger frames than he's wearing now, but not as big as in that photo!

Ann

Not only were those big lens glasses necessary for those of us with bad eyesight in the 80's -- they were in STYLE! Even those folks who did not need the major corrections liked to wear them. Think Elton John & Sally Jessie.

Tell me about it. His mom used glasses too, but she always hid them for vanity:)

Grace eventually got to the point where she didn't care if she was photographed in them or not. This is one of my favorites of hers

Caroline seems to be getting there. I've seen three different events since January where she was snapped wearing half or complete glasses.

TWIT Two

25 Mar 2006
HEY, Prince Eddie, what yer playing at? No sooner have we compared TWIT to his father than we see a shot of the young rapscallion smooching with a borrowed blonde on a yacht...

I've been wearing glasses since 1968 and never heard of such a thing it was the style back then. Albert had few different types during college and contacts.

We have been having a discussion here, what is the color of Prince Albert's eyes; blue or light brown?

I was under the impression they were blue, like Princess Grace's eyes.

They seem to have a blue-gray-green swirl as they look different in different lightings. Or perhaps some of the magazines are Photoshopping.

He's not wearing socks. I thought I was the only one who could get away with that. ;)

When were these taken, they are nice (though they could be better if someone would lose a little of his belly).

Albert, don’t know if already post?
He looks gorgeous ;)

Does anyone have the full series he did within the last two years (not sure if before or after Rainier died) where Albert is wearing a black shirt and posing in the courtyard? Some are on the steps, some are close-ups with his hands under his chin.
They are the most attractive I have seen of Albert...probably since the 'cowboy' ones above. Though the one where he has a moustache (it was part of an auction) is a favourite too.

Just to note, the black shirt is not that above. Its long sleeved and the series was shot in black and white.

I can't find right now the rest of the photos that were posted but I saved them at the time on my computer along with the interview, I'll look for later if you want.

YES!

The first link has dead photos, the bandwidth on them has expired.

The second has the two of the series I've seen.

Very charming portraits of Prince Albert.

Thank you.

Thank you!

I didn't know there was an article to go with the photos. It must have been published while I was offline for a few months. We get so little information over here about any royalty.

Crickey, I could almost fall in love with the guy from reading that. But then I look at all the hoopla surrounding any one of his 'just girlfriends' and panic--which quickly kills any infatuation!

Wonderful findings, flowerpower, Albert looks absolutely great on these pics :)

Great size! Thats bigger than the one in the Gallery. Momma and Bertie.

Thats the one I've been trying to make my avatar but the vBulletin update is causing problems. :(

Thhrc, very lovely collection of Princess Grace. Is this you and your family pictures posted? :) Very nice indeed.

I have never seen this pic of Princess Grace and Prince Albert before and it's nice pic of them, iceflower.. Thanks for posting! :) Prince Albert's glasses looks funny and it's old fashioned glasses from 1970s. :p

It would suit Albert better to wear larger glasses now. The ones he wears are too small for his face.
