The Princely Government and the Fondation Prince Albert II have entered into a partnership contract to neutralise the ecological impact of international travel.
They will use the voluntary compensation programme "Monaco Carbon Offsetting". There will be a four year contract.

PA recently invited a number of "new faces" onto the Foundation's "Scientific and Technical Committee".
Thomas Grenon is the General Director of the Natural History Museum of Paris.
Dr. Olav Orheim, a climatologist and glaciologist from Norway.
Guillaume Sainteny, Professor at the Paris Polytechnic, and a Member of the French National Council for Sustainable Development.

Monaco.mc has a similar article about this subject, i.e. he wants his wedding to be carbon-free.

On July 7th, 2011, FPA launched an initiative named "Monaco contre la déforestation" - Monaco against deforestation.
This entails getting together every part of the Principality (including 27 "pilot" enterprises) to think carefully about using wood.
There is a new Charter: "La Charte sur le Bois en Principauté".

One of the - as usual very short - film strips on the FPA website consists of a Walt Disney Nature spot, regarding the lack of pollen for the bee population.
"Pollen - Notre futur dépend d'une histoire d'amour"
(Our future depends on a love story)
