They have a pretty blond on the crew! She must be a scientist for the expedition.Looks like the girl from the boat last summer/Crazy Horse photo.

Prince Albert was interviewed in Longyearbyen, Svalbard on Tuesday. At this time, only subscribers can view the video clip, but here's a photo of Albert taken during the interview:

Well, if Albert wanted to get publicity for global warming, taking Annabelle Bond along was an idiotic decision. The only publicity he'll be getting is speculation about his sex life.

I think we all need to stop trying to link Albert romantically with every woman he happens to spend time with. He does have a country to run...

Finally there happen to be women on this planet and not only men.... what could Albert possibly do about this? Making sure that there's no woman present wherever he goes and in whatever he does ?

It all depends on who is creating the speculation and how much chaos they can
cause. Hopefully, people can put their personal opinions/feelings aside and stay focus on the importance of the North Pole mission.

I just read Annabelle's website...Wow!! Is she impressive. I have to say that to do what she has done, she is the consumate professional and will probably be extremely focused during this trip. This woman is an adreneline junkie...and I'm sure her being involved helped get a few of those sponsors. I wonder who is setting the pace of this trip since she is known for doing things in record time...

All of the members of the expedition have impressive bios. Someone has put together a very impressive team. After reading Annabelle's bio, and what she has accomplished this passed year, she is a good choice as a team member.

Well, making sure there isn't some blonde beauty along might help if he really wants to focus attention on global warming.

It'll be interesting to see how many column inches are given to global warming and how many to his beautiful blonde companion.

Good point Elspeth. I seriously doubt global warming is going to get much attention considering who is on the expedition.

They probably have a rotation schedule worked out so most people sleep while one or two guard.
