Albert's Life in Sports No. 1 Bob sledding

Albert said he stopped counting how many sports he participated in after 15. I thought it might be fun to see how many different photo's we can locate of him having fun himself in one of men's favorite past times sports. I have several to share thought I would open with the Olypmics photo's where he was carrying the flag for Monaco during the opening ceremony at Lillehammer 1994.

Shooting No. 6

It appears to be an air rifle which is a very competitive to many sportsman. I am not sure in this photo exactly what the situation is however I am aware he does compete in shooting sports like in the Pentathlon. This was Opening of the 10th Sportel. Corbis

Albert has competed in many other sports over the years. Speed boats, bike racing, soccer, golf, Paris Daker race I've seen photo's on. Here is one of your area's guys sports lets get a little competion to find the rarest photo's or even a video of Albert doing what he loves so much. He trained in javelin at Amherst, was on the track team, hand-ball, Judo black-belt, academic champion in swimming, tennis, sailing, skiing, squash, fencing, rowing, fencing, are amongst the many sports he enjoys. He also won medals I know photo's of those can be found as well. Snowball fights and sleding as a child will also count.

Happy surfing thats a sport also.

A rare photo. Caption translated from German. Prince Albert of Monaco recovers in the goal from an area run on 15 December 1972 in Monaco. The sporty prince reached on the two kilometers is enough for distance the 16. Place in a field of approximately 200 participants. 1972 would make him 14. Fotomarktplatz

Cool I knew he played he just had 2 tons of sand taken up to his place to build a volleyball court by the pool area. I like how you picked up I numbered the sports to keep count. I have a fear more to add if no one beats me to it. I like competition as well. I'm hoping someone comes up with his racing speed boats or from his college days. He was on the track team and learned javelin. I haven't gotten back to the photo's of him in his sweats saying Amherst yet so I know they are out there.

Fifteen Al and counting for you.
