If you can, have two TRF sessions open. If and when a post goes to the 'error/refresh' page, go to the second session and go back into the thread and check: chances are the post has taken. It may not show up as a new post on the Portal page, but if it is showing in the thread then it's worked.

Tried that - except for one post in this thread I get told I am trying to reach an invalid thread - and nothing posts.

This trick worked for me. As Warren suggested, I opened two sessions, and after receiving the error message - there was my post, in the second window. Now, the posts count doesn't go up, but goes down if I erase a duplicated post (duplicated due to this server problems). I have 165 since the beginning of this week. I must be having at least 170, is this going to be fixed?

Hi, biboquinhas,

It's here, where it always is:

http://www.theroyalforums.com/forums/f64/

Are you saying you can't see it? Remember, only members can see Members' Corner, so you won't be able to see it if you aren't logged in. However, once you're logged in you shouldn't have any problem. If you can't see it while logged in, please post here and say so, and our tech guy will take a look.

Our tech guy is telling me that he thinks he's sorted the problems out and that the server shouldn't be glitching now.

Please post here if you're having any more problems so we can let him know.

And for me too, but I now seem to be facing new problem with posting in the Monaco fourms. I get broken icons, and when I hit the key to access the various threads, it redirects me automatically to the Monaco forum index, which doesn't seem to be happening with this thread, of course. thanks for explainations!

It's been a rugged few days, but we trust everyone has made it through unscathed!
The server seems to be getting back to normal, so thanks to everyone for your patience.

Tosca, are you still having this problem or is everything OK now? The Monaco forum seems to be working for me.

So which would be better for next time (because there will be one!)--
trying everything we can to see what is broken and posting it here?
OR
stay away from this addictive place and deal with the withdrawl symptoms?

Well, if the server crashes like it did this time, staying away is the only option!

Rather than trying everything, the best policy is probably to just do what you normally do and post here if you run into problems. Sometimes fixing one thing will also fix others, so it's best to deal with the straightforward stuff first.

Hi guys,

My pages are very slow to load sometimes and are only half appearing. Refreshing the page seems to work though. Is this remains of the server problem??

I guess that I am not the only one being able to brew a cup of tea while waiting for the page (or site) to load.

It's been slow for me as well for the past few days. I thought it might be my internet connection or something.

I have problems at different times of my day, I put it down to when the various countries start work, finish work or school children get home. The problem is that TRF's is so popular!
