I think Catherine should have the Rundell tiara and Harry's wife the Strathmore.

I agree that the Rundell would be both historical and spectacular for KAte.

What tiara did Princess Margaret wear on her wedding day? I saw a few pictures of it once and I remember it was really beautiful.

^ Shame that it's not in the family anymore. I think it'd be a beautiful on Kate.

I think Harry's wife should have the Strathmore and first wear it at their wedding. But something tells me she will receive a new one, like Fergie.
But what about the Manchester tiara?

I would hope Harry's wife gets something bigger than the strathmore tiara. The queen has plenty of jewels to pass down.

The Manchester Tiara is a beauty! But it is displayed in the Victoria & Albert Museum, and not owned by the BRF. Imo it is completely unlikely that they will purchase a tiara from a museum.

I know that there has been some speculation about the future of the Cambridge Lovers Knot tiara, and while I think it should be retired.....What do you guys think about it winding-up with Prince Harry's wife?

Interesting idea. But personally I suspect that Harry's future wife will go the same way as Sarah and Sophie and not receive an important royal heirloom.

Sophie's piece was reportedly made-up of Queen Victoria's circlet if I am not mistaken. I too think that his wife will get a new one but with the Queen you never know. After all she has held on to most of the jewels rather than pass them down. I do think it would be nice for Harry's future wife to get at least on historic piece. Teck circlet tiara maybe.

What about the Essex tiara? I think it's a lovely piece of jewelry.

Are there any photos of the Essex tiara or the Manchester tiara?

I think Harry's wife will be loaned a historic piece. Once Charles becomes king she, Kate, Camilla & Anne will carry the bulk of royal duties so she will need a significant piece for official state duties.

I would sure hope so. After all he isn't going away unless the Royal Family disappears.
I prefer for his wife: the scroll tiara, the papyrus tiara or the teck tiara. The first two have a nice history of staying with the "spares"

Thank you for the photos.
I don't think in this economy they'll buy a tiara. I just hope to God she doesn't get a cut-and-paste one like Sophie's....and yes I know it's historical.

I agree Sophie's first tiara is not the best. Her second one is nice though.
