Guys, this is the Royal Jewels Forum and this thread is intended to discuss how tiaras and jewels go together with the hair. It is not a thread to discuss individual hairstyles or whether Mary's is better than Marie's.
I've taken out a page of posts about hair. Discussion and critiques of hairstyles should be done in the Royal House of Fashion forum.
thanks.

Wow! I never thought I would ever say that the Cameo Tiara looked anything but rather unflattering (OK, downright ugly), but I have to say that on top of that braid it looks fabulous. Wonder how it would go with the wedding veil?

I think Silvia looks ridiculous with that braid and then the Cameo on top.
Mary having her hair like that, suits the Ruby Parue perfectly.
Marie's braided hair doesn't suit the floral tiara, the way she had it last year looked much more suitable.

I know that the Cameo Tiara has a lot of fans, but I dont care for it at all, no matter what the hairstyle.

There is possible one down the back, but not at the front.
Now the sapphie set suits Silvia's hair style.

That was a really lovely tiara hairdo on Letizia:

It would be great to see her having updos like this again instead of having the same hairdo at every gala event.

Impressive but fussy – Queen Silvia wore this kind of tiara hairdo only two or three times.

The strangest combination was the one I saw just now in the Malaysian royal jewels thread. There is one lady wearing her tiara on top of a muslim headscarf. There's one style I've not seen before!

Many ladies in the Brunei, and some in the Malaysian, royal family wear their tiaras on top of their hijab (headscarf). This includes the Queens of both countries.

But the "wedding style" of wearing it maybe do better justice to both a beautiful tiara and a beautiful hijab??
