The most likely choice would be to wear her mother's tiara but she might not want to for a couple of reasons:
*her parents' marriage ended in divorce so she might see it as a bit negative;

Why should she be so superstitious?
William gave Kate the same engagement ring his father gave to his mother, with whom he later divorced

I'm not saying she should be, I said she might be. I wouldn't be put off but she might be because some people are quite sensitive about items that have a negative association.

I think The Queen will either give her a newly made Tiara especially for her, like her mother’s, or borrow her a Tiara from the Vault that haven’t seen the light of day for ages, like her sister’s.

I voted for the Strathmore Rose Tiara.
That one, or the Lotus Tiara or perhaps the Persian Turquoise, would be a lovely tribute to Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother.

What if Beatrice shocks everyone and just wears a floral tiara like her doppelganger Queen Victoria wore to her wedding?

Unlikely, but still. Quite a few things about this wedding are unlikely...

To be honest after today's announcement of the venue I wouldn't be at all surprised if Beatrice goes without a traditional royal tiara. Maybe a headpiece of some kind or flowers or if a tiara as such I would say maybe the Cartier bracelet tiara the Queen Mother wore and the bracelets from which the Queen still wears today.

Well if she wants sparkle I am sure there's plenty of options in the vaults.

Again, I daydream walking into that jewelry box just for a peek.

I voted Queen Mary’s Lozenge Bandeau

It would be more of a link to her mother.

Honestly I can’t see Beatrice going so old fashioned. Yeah some modern brides do but Beatrice isn’t exactly the boho type either.

If she is going to forego traditional tiara I don’t see her going old fashioned flowers. Jewels in her hair. Some kind of actual modern twist.

Hm - me thinks - either the York tiara or a small headband like tiara from the vaults - something not seen for a while.
I would wonder if Beatrice would go sans tiara - after all she is a HRH and her sister also had a nice tiara borrowed from her grandmother.... as well as every single bride from the BRF who has married during the last 20 years or so.... (not even sure that we have seen one without for even a longer time period...)

I agree...I truly believe that she'll wear a tiara and I really hope for the Fringe that the Queen wore for her own wedding (see my comment above). However, if she decided to forgo the tiara, I really think we'll see some sort of brooches in her hair or something along those lines. I know we often see the ladies of the Swedish RF with brooches used as hair ornaments but I feel like there's several diamond brooches within the BRF that would make beautiful hair ornaments if she wanted to go that route.

It's probably the only time in her life she'll get the chance to wear a tiara (other than at the next coronation maybe) so I hope she takes it.

Perhaps the Queen will be gracious and loan her Albert's Brooch for the day. Since Bea seems to reallly like Victoria/the Victorian era, doubt it as its intended for regeants and consorts but a nice thought and heirloom.

Which earrings do you think Queen Elizabeth II might loan to Princess Beatrice?

Bea doesn’t have pierced ears and rarely wears earrings, so that’s an interesting question.

I'm thinking that perhaps with the wedding being in the Chapel Royal of St. James Palace, perhaps Beatrice will honor Queen Victoria who married her Albert there and wear a wreath of orange blossoms similar to Victoria's.

Just a hunch of mine. ?

:previous: I suggested something similar a few posts up. But there were no takers i guess.:whistling:

I was sure the wedding was going to be at Windsor and that we’d see a tiara dug up from the vaults, like we saw for Catherine, Meghan and Eugenie.
But with the venue curveball, I’m now afraid we might not get a tiara at all:scream:. And Beatrice doesn’t have pierced ears and wears very little jewelry in general, so we might only get a bracelet or tiny earrings:sad: .

My wish (which I think isn’t likely) would be:
Queen Mary’s Fringe Tiara

Flowers are either 80s nod to her mother or a Boho chic look. Beatrice doesn’t scream boho chic style. Honestly other then myrtle like Victoria I doubt we will see such a direct nod.

I still put my money on either the Sapphire bandeau or the QM's Fringe.

Queen Mary's fringe tiara would be amazing to see.
Nothing with blue stones however, it would clash with her haircolour.

I may be wrong, but I think she'll wear a tiara. It's a special day. Zara's always made a thing of being unconventional, which Beatrice hasn't, and she wore a tiara.

Clash with her hair? Sapphires and red hair should look quite complimentary to each other.

I don't see her wearing a big tiara ...I'm still holding out hope she will wear the York tiara. It is quite pretty and a shame to never see it.

Depending on the neckline perhaps she will wear a statement piece necklace either borrowed from the Queen or a new one as present from her parents or The Queen.

I disagree, sapphires or aquamarine stones would be lovely with Bea’s red hair, (as would emeralds, but her sister wore emeralds.) I think rubies or garnets would be the less attractive stones with Bea’s hair.

I quite agree. If Zara chose to wear a tiara, then Beatrice will as well. Back in the day I actually really feared that she might not wear one.

I, too, hope for the York tiara. Beatrice will probably inherit it, and to me it seems natural that she should wear it on her wedding day. Besides, I find it very beautiful and it's not the tiara's fault, that the previous wearer made some bad choices in her life.

Imo, wearing a tiara with coloured stones would look pretty much like copying Eugenie's wedding look, and I doubt that Beatrice will do that.

My biggest fear, though, is that we won't see decent close-ups of Beatrice with her jewels. What if they keep out all journalists and only publish an official picture? Those are usually wide shots that make it impossible to appreciate the jewels.

@Tilia If we don't see close-ups taken by the press, I think it's likely that we'll see some closer shots of the bride on Instagram after the wedding. They'll have their own photographer & I fully expect they'll share some of those images.

I am hoping (fingers crossed) we get some nice pics released after ...and several not just the usual formal pics. Maybe some from the reception at BP as well.

For the last royal wedding, Lady Gabriella wore a fringe tiara.
So I'm hoping Beatrice will go with something different.

(I think the sapphire bandeau would be nice, and then have blue accents in the children's clothing.
I suspect the York Tiara is long-gone).

> Ella Kent may well have worn a Fringe, but it was a different fringe.

> There is no evidence that the York tiara has been sold. It was used about a decade ago for one of Elton's white tie and tiara balls

I think Princess Beatrice will wear either her mother's wedding tiara or a ruby tiara. The latter would look good with Beatrice's flame red hair.

There isn't a vast variety of ruby tiara's available.

> There is the Oriental Circlet dating back to Queen Victoria, which is an heirloom of the crown and has so for only been used by Queen's regnant and consort.

> And the only other option is the tiara made using the Burmese rubies only used so far only by the Queen.
