Way to go Marengo!
Anyone know if Mary has actually worn this before? I certainly hope not.

Can we possibly get a pic of Mette-Marit wearing the Norwegian Emeral Tiara?

Her Majesty posted a pic of it in the earlier photoshopping thread. Here's a link to her post

I was over on the "Tiaras for the next generation" thread and I developed a hankering to see the teck circle necklace of Princess Margaret's with the Grand Duchess Vladimir's tiara, no drops, on QEII and on Camilla. I wonder how that would look? Can one of you photoshopping geniuses make it happen? Please? Pretty please?

If I posted a few tiaras to be photoshopped, would any of you photoshoppers want to do them for me? I'm no good at it.

If you think you are no good at it, dear heart, you should run into me, a deranged chocoholic who cannot spell, write and can only barely type. As for photoshopping, just as soon ask an hippopotmus to play the Beethoven Violin Concerto!!! But I just love all these ridiculous and absolutely glorious baubles. I think the Cambridge Lovers Knot tiara would look wonderful with sapphire or emerald drops in place of the pearls. And my great love, among others, is the Dehli Durbar tiara with emeralds restored and a magnificent emerald or diamond in the center. As for not so poor Marie, may I suggest the colour of the Poppy Outer Space horror is wonderful on her. the earings are not too bad. If somebody could just come up with a design in the form of a circlet or whatnot for her head using all that lovely gold the contraption might actually get off of the ground, who knows. ??? Where are our genius photoshppers when we really need them??? Cheeers

I'd like to Letizia in Sophia's ruby parue--I love that little tiara.

Who does the Amethyst Cartier Tiara belong to? It resembles one that I have recently seen in a book on Alexandra, Princess of Wales

I am not even sure this tiara has a royal provenance. I have it listed as "a Louis Cartier Diadem" and may be in private hands or remain in the Cartier Collection.
It has a resemblance to Queen Alexandra's sapphire tiara (pic below) which I assume remains in the Buckingham Palace vaults.

Mary in other fringe tiaras
Hello everyone - I wonder if someone would be able to adorn Crown Princess Mary in one of the fringe tiaras other than the Fife fringe tiara. Crown Princess Marie-Chantal has a beautiful example, and then of course there are those in the British Royal Family and the Swedish Royal Family.
I think she would look superb. Hope someone gives her one soon.

No, no, no! I love to see Queen Margrethe wearing it. I think she really appreciates that it is really the Danish version of the "Emperor's New Clothes".
