Well, I do not speak French, well, I can speak it and read it but I can't follow another person who speaks it, but this video had some really beautiful pieces! That pearl necklace he showed the photograph of, it looked like acorns or something. I thought it was amazing. Thanks for the video!

Oh my...this is the same 'Alberto Repossi' who was the jeweler responsible for that mind-blowingly vulgar knuckle duster Liberarce cum Elvis (the Vegas Years) Presley ring from that cringe-inspiring range breathless dubbed the Dis-moi-oui collection, that Dodi Fayed apparently gave Diana as an 'engagement' ring! That ring screamed parvenu to me!!!!! I wonder if Graff supply trinkets to contemporary Royals....the Middle Eastern families and the Brunei lot perhaps! I do not think I have ever seen any of the British RF sporting pieces by Graff.....but Graff seem to able to put together really classic and interest modern pieces that will probably be as revered as Cartier and other established greats of the past two centuries!

I have never seen a picture of the actual ring supposedly sold by Repossi to Dodi Al-Fayed. Does someone have a picture? What happened to the ring?
On Wikipedia, it states that Repossi testified at the inquest that Dodi merely placed an order for the resizing of a ring for Diana.
I would still like to see a picture of any ring at all designed for that Dis-moi-oui collection, I've heard so much about it.

Wow, that ring is not pretty.... I'm surprised Diana would like something like that

But she appears to have had little or nothing to do with picking it out. How Repossi let Dodi leave the store with that, I don't know (unless it was his own engagement ring! There was another, more expensive ring that was returned, right?)
Okay, let's say that's what Dodi picked out. Awful. But thank you so much Warren for posting the link, both my husband and I have been so curious about what it looked like.

Yes, I agree. It looks like a pinky ring for a man with totally over-the-top taste, nothing like an engagement ring for the stylish Diana Princess of Wales.
