I voted for Letizia. As she had a really special up-do and I love the little braids, makes it look so special. Mette-Marit had a wonderful hairstyle too and I also love the one from mary even though she had nothing special. Most of the woman had up-do's that look really similar. Queen Rania looked gorgeous as usual but I don't like the few hairs coming down in her neck. If they were up then it would be my fav. hairstyle I guess. :)

I voted for Mary, I loved her hair style & the way her tiara was sitting.
Another winner was MM & Queen M of Denmark, both ladies wear their tiaras really well.

Yes, her tiara and hair are ok. I said her outfit left a lot to be desired in another thread.

A very difficult choice. They are all very beautiful and gorgeous. I want to get one of them. My favorites :
1- Queen Silvia
2- Grand Duchess Maria Teresa
3- Queen Sonja
4- CP Mette-Marit
5- Queen Margrethe

Sorry about all the broken links. They've all been fixed so those of you who haven't voted can do so now.
Please note that the opening post contains pictures of several female guests not included in the poll so have a look at those as well.

I just went over the poll again and was surpised that I had voted for CP Mette-Marit. Although I still like her hair and was excited to see her with the pearl tiara, I don't think that the tiara was well placed. It was so tilted backwards that it looked a bit like a head band.

Now I prefer the look of CP Mary. And I'd like to give honoury mention to Princess Märtha-Louise. She wore the amethyst tiara so much better than Mette-Marit usually does. She proudly placed it up-right with a high up-do giving it the right backdrop. I'd love to see Mette-Marit wearing the amethysts that way.

Best Tiara/Hair combination at Victoria's wedding

The bride herself and her mother nailed it with the cameo and braganza tiaras :) I say like Silvia, the Cameo tiara has never shined like it did on that day (and probably never will).

After them i'd say Queen Margrethe II, Queen Sonja, Princess Märtha-Louise and Princess Maxima.
Credit also to Princess Margareta Mrs Ambler for wearing the Aquamarine
set again :)

Worst tiara look that day goes to Princess Birgitta. Totally wrong tiara for her. It didn't suited her at all in any way and it looked like it was going to fall of her head at any second. There are even rumours that the inflexible nine prong tiara had to visit the court jeweller after how it was treated by Birgittas hairdresser :-D

Now the second worst went to Madeleine. I have nothing against her, nor the Connaught tiara but i absolutely hated her hairstyle that day and how the tiara was placed at her head. I wouldn't be surprised if the rumours that she had to change tiara that day after one of the fringe tiaras broke is true.

For the sake of documentation, I've added pictures of Princesses Birgitta, Christina, Désirée and Margaretha to the first post.

I think I am so used to Silvia's tiara hair that I quite took it for granted. Shame on me!

Nothing, not one single tiara in the Swedish Vault unless it included a bejewelled Nuns erm, thingamebob . . .

Or

would have saved us from Madeleine and her peculiar striped hair. I mean what was that? Did some subvisive impersonate her hairdresser?

Feel I voted for the tiara rather than the look. Just love Martha Louise's. So like the fringe tiara of Princess Sophie and no. 3 would be Carina. Then I don't not like any of them.
