Beatrice and Eugenie: Future Tiaras and Jewels

To my knowledge, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie of York have never been seen wearing a tiara.
I recently saw a documentary on the Queen's Jewels which suggested that the reason Diana, Sarah and Sophie have never seemed to be given use of any major Royal Tiaras/other Jewels because the Queen was slightly wary of the potential of their marriages ended up as the messes that they did (with the exception of Sophie, of course) and that they would be reserved for 10th & 15th wedding anniversary presents.
But as Blood Princesses, surely Beatrice and Eugenie will be entitled to the use of some Tiara's sooner or later. Have they not attended any State Banquets etc?
Which Tiara's do you think they could be given/loaned in the future?

Tiaras for Beatrice and Eugenie

Probably the only time they wear a tiara is on their wedding day. It would be loaned out for the day like Zara, Autumn and Kate were loaned tiaras for their wedding day. Kate of course will have more occasions to wear a tiara as future Queen.

The Queen doesn't really give tiaras because that would undermine the royal collection. She will loan tiaras. The jewelry can pass from Elizabeth to Charles with a monarch to monarch transfer tax free and then to William and to George in time. You don't have to worry about things being sold to pay taxes like Princess Margaret's children had to do after her death.

Tiaras for Beatrice and Eugenie

I think I've read somewhere that the Christmas dinner at Sandringham is white tie with tiaras which if true could imply that the girls might have worn tiaras atleast a few times.

From what I have heard, the story about the tiaras at Christmas Dinner is a myth and thus not true. Anyway, we will never see published pictures from their privat Christmas.

Sofar, none of the Queen’s grandchildren has attended a State Dinner, not even William and Kate, and certainly not Beatrice and Eugenie. And the latter two probably never will, because of the plans to slim down the RF they won’t be full-time Royals. The York Princesses will wear tiaras at their wedding, and my guess is that they will borrow the rather beautiful tiara of their mother, like Zara and Autumn borrowed from Princess Anne.

And they will most likely attend the coronations of Charles and William. The question is, if those will still be tiara events? Or will the coronations fall prey to the current development of doing away with the old pomp and splendour? I certainly hope for a full blow of tiara appearances by all the Royal relatives and the Peeresses alike. But I am not fully convinced that it will happen.

Oh damn I had these images in my head of the ladies in evening gowns and tiaras instead of those strange paper hats the British wear at Christmas dinner... I just haven't figured out if the men would be wearing their knitted reindeer/fatherxmas sweaters from Primark over or under their dinner jackets.

I doubt that their reindeer sweaters are from Primark, but hand-knitted by Camilla!

So quite possibly they could be made out of dog hair.

You don't need to be a "Blood Princess" to wear diadems. Anyone who has a diadem can wear such when it fits the event.

Yes, I know that. But obviously those invitations to tiara events so far are excessively rare, if not to say non-existent, for the two York princesses.

If Beatrice and Eugenie were Skandinavian Princesses, they already would have had a couple of tiara events. But in Britain there are only the State Banquets, and they are not taking part in those.

That's right. The only time I think these girls will get to wear tiara's publicly will be at their weddings, and possibly at the coronations.

One or either of them might attend the wedding of a European royal where a tiara is necessary. I really don't see W&K or Harry being terribly keen to go to that sort of event, so in future the York girls might fulfil the Wessex's current role as the representative of the BRF at foreign royal events. In that event, I think it's most likely they'd just wear their mother's tiara.

I really find it difficult to understand why people are so obsessed with Beatrice and Eugenie -- and whether or not they are royal enough or tiara-worthy enough. Really? They are the granddaughters of a ruling monarch. Period! There are people running all over Europe with the title of prince, princess, etc ... and their families haven't been reigning anythings for over 100 years. I don't read of anyone objecting to them wearing a tiara or attending a "royal" event.

Mmm, that might be a possibility. But on the other hand William & Kate can't avoid the international Royal circles forever. Once they get Prince and Princess of Wales they will have to fulfill a more active role also on the international social Royal scene.

Unfortunately Carl Philip & Sofia's wedding will probably be the last big tiara wedding for a long time, since the next generation are still kids.

But what if? Let's speculate: My guess is that one of them will wear their mother's tiara. I'd really love to see it on Eugenie's red head, since we are kind of used to see it on red hair. Also she's the eldest.

Bea will probably borrow one of the smaller tiaras from the royal vaults. Maybe the sapphire bandeau that Princess Margret has worn a couple of times before her wedding? The Teck tiara? Or there still might be one of other tiaras of Queen Mary? Usually don't share tiaras, but the two tiaras that have been worn by the Duchess of Cambridge would be suitable as well.

Beatrice could wear a tiara if she attends the State Banquet for the President of Singapore.

Princess Anne usually attends these affairs but she is in Australia so Beatrice could replace her with Prince Harry or William as her escort.

Image the possibilities of Prince Harry accompanying Princess Beatrice to a State Banquet.

There are other royal women such as Alexandria, Duchess of Gloucester or Princess Michael to go to the state dinner tomorrow. The grandkids aren't going attend a state dinner before the Cambridges do and the Cambridges aren't going to the state dinner tomorrow.

A State Banquet isn't an open bar. You don't just roll up you need to be invited and invitations are sent out by BP with consultation from the Foreign Office.

The Cambridge's aren't going (I think) is because Catherine have an evening engagement tomorrow.

The York girls would probably wear their mother's wedding tiara for their own weddings. Also, for Charles & William's future Coronations.

Yes, but at the coronations they can't both wear the same tiara to the same event. One of them will have to borrow.

Beatrice is the redhead, also the elder York daughter. Eugenie is the brunette.

With the changes in the house of lord and the aristocracy and other changes in Britain, the next coronation may not look like the Queen's with all the people in fur trim robes and coronets and tiaras. It maybe morning suits and dresses with hats for the people in the abbey sort.
