Why does she do that? Why call her kids by different names, even different variations of their name when presumably she agreed or liked the names enough to name her kids them in the first place?
It sounds so chi-chi frou-frou, but I guess that is Marie Chantal.

Thank you for posting the lovely pictures. They are certainly a good looking family.
A couple of questions.
1) How do you pronounce Kimon?
2)Is K-A's name spelled with a K or a C and is A-A's name spelled Achileas or Achilleas? 3)Are all the children's names hyphenated or just some of them? I see it differently in different places.

They attend HCL, so presumably, they're learning the language. But I doubt they speak Greek with their mother, who still can't speak it fluently and calls her children the French versions of their names.
|
Her greek is absolutely horrible - she can barely speak it at all! Out of curiosity, what are the french versions of her children's names?

Despite the loving family poses, how come I don't have the warm and fuzzy feelings of a truly loving, supportive family?
Maria-Olympia doesn't look too happy in the one picture holding her baby brother; she looks like she is gritting her teeth for the cameras. Even in the picture by herself Maria-Olympia doesn't look very happy -- or is this just a generally unhappy girl? And is she wearing lipstick in the picture with her baby brother???

I agree with you Genecieve, I get the feeling that these "intimate" and exclusive photos of the family are totally staged. The children look very uncomfortable. Although Pavlos, to me, always looks like a very loving and dedicated father. I always get the feelling that Marie-Chantal is just parading and showcasing her royal status to the world.

Not a problem ravergirl!
I do agree with you about Pavlos: he does seem genuine and a sincerely caring and dedicated and devoted father to his kids. The one picture of him with Achilleas and Konstantin seem the most genuine of the entire series.
I've always felt a bit sorry for him. It always seems to me that he's a bit lost in this relationship; that Marie Chantal dominates the marriage and really controls things (re: wears the pants in the relationship). He doesn't seem as interested in the press attention as his wife does but goes along with these innumerable photo shoots because it makes her happy, and if it makes her happy then it makes him happy and his life easier.

Thank you for letting us know about this article.:) I hope someone with a scanner that is able to get this magazine can post these pictures and the article.
They certainly are nice looking children and Anne-Marie looks lovely as ever.

I'm sure it would be appreciated greatly if someone is able to provide a summary of the article. Is it an interview with Queen Anne-Marie?

Some of the pics of Queen Anne-Marie with her grandchildren - do you know, if they are scans from the recent "Life&Style" photo spread?
