Obviously She didn´t carry her baby because she was still too weak from child birth.

Maybe it's like when you leave hospital you are escorted out in a wheelchair so that while you are on the hospitals grounds nothing happens to you and you can't sue them??
Maybe with "VIP" babies the children are walked out so "nothing happens to them" ??? or maybe it's a security thing?
I don't know really, I'm just guessing!!!

Does anyone know why M-C stayed in the hospital for almost a week after giving birth? That seems like an awfully long time. Were there any complications? And it's something else that a nurse carried the baby to the car, and Pavlos carried a Vogue magazine. And some people wonder why the couple gets made fun of alot!

Well, giving birth isn't exactly a walk in the park so no wonder Marie-Chantal looks tired. But it has been a week now ... and if she has a newborn baby she should get used to being tired.
But even if Marie-Chantal was tired from the baby why didn't Pavlos carry the baby out of the hospital? Is he tired from the delivery too or what?

...I doubt that being tired (esp. a week after the birth) would prevent a new mother (or father) from having the joy of carrying her little baby from the hospital...even if it's only to the car. Look at Diana, Mathilde, Alexandra, Claire, etc. They all did it. Why would Marie-Chantal prefer for a nurse to do it? And why wouldn't Pavlos do it? I doubt it's a new policy for a nurse to carry a baby out...very strange.

If you remember Paul & MC carried Maria-Olympia, Constantin & Achilleas out from the hospital
That's quite strange, that for this one they didn't announce officially the birth , they don't show pictures (whereas for their first kids they did .... ) that strange

Why? She no doubt has a bevy of nannies & nurses to take care of the children while she gets her social life back into shape!

I don't buy for a minute that it was just because MC was tired that they didn't carry him out. Something smells fishy here. Even Clothilde and Emanuele-Filiberto carried out Vittoria and it was EF that was in the wheelchair with Clothilde pushing him! You'd think that he had the baby instead of his being in an accident :).

When I was borned, my father tiped one golden pound to the nurse that presented his son (me) to him ,and she felt so obliged that she brought me home!
Later when I grew up,and of cource quarrelled with him,{actually very often}his main argument was that he should have used the golden pound and send me for aduption in America!!!!

I think Alexia's youngest daughter was christened in Greece, so maybe this baby will be cristhened in Greece too.

Any official announcement on the baby's name yet? I think it's really strange that's the baby still hasn't got a name...
I really hope there's nothing wrong with the baby...

Actually, her having been in the hospital for 5 days is more consitent with a caesarian section birth rather than a natural birth. If that were the case then it is not surprising that she wasn't holding the baby, a c-section is serious abdominal surgery. Having said that, I find it odd that Pavlos wasn't holding the baby...I'm sure most people don't think carrying Vogue to be a greater priority than carrying one's newborn son. Perhaps he isn't comfortable handling a newborn?
