Great pics Regina and Ice, Princess Grace looks beautiful in all of them, esp. the first one posted by Ice.

Princess Grace was one of the most beautiful women ever in my opinion. She was stunning at all ages. :)

Aren't those dramatic pictures? I wonder when they were taken, my guess is about 1974.

Does anyone know anything about the necklace she's wearing? It looks like a squash blossom necklace or maybe something astrological.

Great pictures! She looks stunning as always. The pics posted by Ianna were taken in October 1973.

Thanx Monaco!;) :) I assume you'll know the exact time!:)

I just read on imdb.com (not the greatest source I know) that Rainer banned Grace's films in Monaco? Is this true? Does anyone have more details about this?

Hi Regardez. This was discussed earlier. :) Anyway, what you read is true. And most of his subjects knew better to exploit their Princess by commercializing/capitalizing on her film star status. Rainier did allow some of Grace's films to be shown in the palace screening room but also chose what was shown. The Country Girl - fine; To Catch a Thief - no.

I'm just guessing that he didn't want her to be associated with her old life and wanted her to be a Princess of Monaco, and to be happy at her new role (she missed acting very much). He also discouraged her to associate with friends from the entertainment profession at first. In the end, he became friends with some of them, too.

That was nice of him wasnt it , marry an actress........ then ban her from acting ( wasnt as if she was doing porn)
and what ever else brought her happiness .....mmm my kind of man
(I can see why for the first few years she didnt act due to children and finding her feet , but to stop her all together , shame on him and the rest of his people who werent happy for her to act again!! except to do some reading of poems!!!!!!!)

Nice tribute Ianna :) Indeed today it's 23 years since Princess Grace died. I added some pictures of her in my site as a tribute. Also some pics of Caroline and Stephanie were added.

Glad to hear you have new pics, Monaco70s! Your site is the best.

I am sorry I couldn't find discussion of it in this thread, but thanks for answering my question anyway.

Thanks for posting those wonderful pics our beloved princess!!..I love seeing pictures of the young family when Princess Grace was still alive..but I kinda feel sad for sometime seeing those pics, asking question why she had to leave so soon and not seeing her beautiful grandchildren all growing-up.. :(

Thanks for the little tribute Ianna! The last one and the two you posted
before that show that she never lost the actress deep inside of her..

Great pic Ianna, do you have more photographs from that session? Are u sure it's not from 1968 cos she's wearing the same dress from 1968's Red Cross.

I had it on some of mine disks, it was under Elle folder 1967. But maybe it's mistake 'cause source was one old mag..I think last of tribute belongs to this folder too..I had one more, have to look..;)
