:rose: while all the pics are beautiful the favorite pic is the one of the pink gown or is that lavender and it has what looks like netting shawl with lavader spraig for decoration with the long gloves. what we wouldn't 'give' to own that gown!!! :lol: although, some people don't seem to think that one is as nice as some others. it's one of my favs of this grouping. :thistle:

Yes, I totally agree with you Glistening Seas. There's a real fairy tale atmosphere to the picture. Howell Conant commented on this shoot in his book that he was trying to catch Grace in a remarkable pose similar to the effect he had achieved when he shot her in the water in Jamaica. I think he achieved his aim.

Yes , I agree.This pink dress is my favourite,it is like a fairy tale dress ,the dress I call Cinderella´s dress

The first pic you posted Queenofthelight is from the opening night of the Sporting Club in 1974.
 
The pic you last posted Queenofthelight from 1978, is from 1979's Television Festival. Thanks for the great additions :)
 
Great photos...on the one with Richard Burton she was attending Elizabeth Taylor's birthday party in 1973 or 1974.
 
The 3rd photo is just perfect! Man, how I love that dress!
 
The first pic is new for me.She is so elegant with the cute coat and the turban she was so fond of.To wear turbans and buns is difficult if you are not a beauty like her or simply pretty....
I mean, one has to be really beautiful to suit turbans and buns perfectly as they suited them.The same happens with the glasses.She looks beautiful even with them:flowers:
 
maryamj your pics are amazing! great finding! As Zubiaur said, in the 4th pic it looks like her spirit is there, very touching.
And I also like the 2nd pic, with a portrait of Rainier. Very lovely. :flowers:
 
In the last one she's with Estee Lauder at a party in New York, circa 1976.
 
She really was a fairy tale princess. She was as many kids in the world would have imagine a Princess is: beautiful, graceful, and noble. Thanks for pics, Zubiaur :angel:
