Well Caroline and Charlotte really down played their beauty by wearing dresses that do not do them justice and do not flatter them.....But everyone else looks great!

I am very disappointed this year Rose Ball. Wasn't last year's ball Gypsy theme? It was great theme and quite nice outfits. This year is a disaster.
Caroline dress was really bad choice. I could see it was sheer not only on the top but also in the middle, there was her belly button and breasts showing, the whole dress was just awful. I think it was the worst dress that Caro ever had.
Many women's outfits looked just bad.
But Charlotte was a real queen of the ball. Nice hair, make-up and a dress, the outfit made her looking maybe older, but still was OK. The dress looked like something in medieval style and I liked it.
Charlene looked quite nice, really nice make-up, dress comparing to other women at event, was quite pretty too. Her hair though was too light, too fake looking. But overall she looked pretty.
I saw something strange in facial expression of Albert, Caroline and Charlene, like they were not happy, as if they did not want to be there, especially Albert. Am I only one seeing this?
I don't think that taking Charlene here is a good idea either. Especially after the palace just danied wedding rumours. People will be like what's going on here and it will not make Princely family looking seriously.

But the others?Who are they?Who is the girl wearing Caroline's dress?And the girl with the curly hair (at left in the first photo)? And the one next to Eugenie in the first pics on other posts?

Where is Andrea and Tatiana? And why aren't the Dellal's here?At least Alex? Lately Charlotte is always with them!?!And Cecile? Did her and Char cut their relations?

Well Charlotte lives in London now, and probably has a number of new friends (at the Independant etc.). This might explain the friends need to 'borrow' a dress, as perhaps her new friends aren't the usual 'very rich young set' who she has been used to socialising with. Maybe her boyfriend had things of his own to be getting on with.
