Great Photos. Charlene looks great!

Is Charlene really styed as a Princess in her known right though? I was told that only Princesses by blood have the priveledge of being styled as a Princess with their own name, thus in their own right. In Monaco at the moment to my knowledge there are three: Princess Caroline, Princess Alexandra, and Princess Stephanie.

Yes, she is. She's entitled Princess Charlene of Monaco, not Princess Albert of Monaco.

i dont get it this rose ball seems to me everyone is try to prove/ selling something, cher lipstick it look awful, she is wearing a bright colour dress she should have tone down on the makeup and jewelry it seems too much, caroline i like the dare look steph it is a nice try, another question why is albert and cher the only one dancing??? all of this seems like a photo op, they need to stop trying to prove too much and just be theirself, so what other people/media say. when i watch this red ball event it seems a less fun/unwatchable on like before everyone seems like they are on stage to perform, why can everyone just be themself and stop playing their stages character. it all seems so phony, iam sorry to speak up why are albert and cher the only one dancing for the carmen then?? the whole 30min just dancing for everyone to watch is this dancing with the'' star''??? flashback as before by looking at my mon old photo it was never like this, all the photo i saw everyone was enjoy themself drink,laugh,chil out, grace dancing etc, so i cannot compare this too to it, this seems too stage everyone at this ball are great actor, i can wait for the oscar!!!!!!

I take it you mean Charlene. Albert is the Head of State and Sovereign who opens the Ball with the first dance after wards everyone can dance. He use to open with Caroline or Stephanie.

I just found out that it is really not Princess Charlene of Monaco as she is not Princess born like Caroline, Alexandra ,and Stephanie. Her title is HSH, The Princess of Monaco. She is not a princess in her own right like they are.

In the official page of the Princely Family she is listed as HSH Princess Charlene.

Before the wedding it was announced that she would have that style.

All 3 Princesses looked lovely at the Red Cross Ball (August 2011). Loved all their dresses charlene/caroline/stephenie.

Iceflower what happened to the post you responded to that was asking why wasn't Charlene called Princess Albert? I don't like this new thing of having the edited by and reason not showing in the posts because people can change them and it throws our responses like this off.

Charlene's marriage made her HSH Princess Charlene of Monaco. Take a look at the homepage Palace web site

I don't get the sense of this discussion.
Charlene is now Princess Charlene just like Mary is now Princess Mary and like Maxima and like Letitia are Princesses (Crown Princesses) now.
By marrying Prince Albert she got the title

Sorry to be a pain, but it would be nice if, on the larger events, we could include some mention of Elisabeth-Ann and Mélanie de Lusignan alongside the three princesses.
They are so regular in their attendance, and I thought Albert's "cousine" looked very interesting, especially her hair.

Princess Caroline was present at the gala of the red cross . She was not here in 2009 nor 2010, but this year, she was here and it was fine.Many monegash people said it was because she wanted to show her suport to the princely couple against the rumours on the couple at the moment of the wedding.She was in holidays and she returned in Monaco to be here at the Gala.

I also got the message saying the video couldn't be played in my country when I clicked on the "play" button but when I clicked on the line that says "Albert II et Charlene ....etc" at the top of the screen it worked so to anyone else having trouble, try this.

I loved that Caroline was at this ball. A presence very much missed.
If i'm not mistaken, the Casiraghis have never attended this Ball. Well, i think i saw Pierre was there once, but i'm not sure.

Stephanie's gown is really exquisite. Keep up the good work, Princess!

Caroline's dress is not something I would wear, but she is putting African designers on the map...and I love her for that!

As for Charlene, I think Akris doesn't really flatter her in general. But I think she looks really beautiful here, including hair and makeup.

The Ocean Tiara/Necklace is stunning.

Princess Charlene looks beautiful. Its a beautiful color and although I don't love the design of the dress it is acceptable. I don't know why Charlene looks more like a Princess than Stephanie and Caroline.

Well, that depends on the eye of the person. For me she looks like an actress, not a princess
