Princess Caroline's gown is something I might have expected Princess Stephanie in her younger years to choose because of her rebel image.
Conversely, Princess Stephanie's romantic gown is what I thought her sister would have preferred for this event.
Is Princess Caroline going through some experimental stage? An event like this, I assumed, would have made her fashion and competitive juices flowing, like she did in past years. Her look at her brother's wedding ball had the same watered down quality. Where is that "I'm Grace Kelly's daughter and I'll eat you alive, thank you very much" attitude that she proudly sported all her life???
As for Stephanie, girl seems allergic to jewelry. And as much as the gown in itself is beautiful, the shapeless bodice doesn't do her any favors. She needs a tighter fit that would feature her figure and balance her strong shoulders.

It seems she's strictly Armani and Akris, nothing else can grace the princely body! lol

Caroline´s dress is a piece of art only naturally beautiful, classy, elegant women can wear. She doesn´t need to "try hard" to look stunning.

Thanks for the link of Royal fashionistas - the pics there are lovely, Princess Charlene truly looked stunning (and the breathtaking necklace/tiara)! They made a lovely couple with Prince Albert (who really likes the white dinner jacket ).
Princess Caroline´s gown was ridiculous, such an attire wouldn´t do any justice even to the most beautiful woman in the world.
Princess Stephanie looked good, better than she used to look in past years.
Elisabeth de Massy looked horribly thin, but elegant.

Do you have an idea how much the guests had to pay ? Lucky it is for Charity.
The Glory of the Princes of Monaco is back.
A new husband for Caroline and Stephanie for next year would be fine!

Well that woman is wearing the wrong dress, it looks ugly as does she. She's not stunning but tired, old and almost leathery. Same goes for Stephanie, who at least wore a semi-elegant dress.
I like Charlene's gown, but she needs to stay out of the sun, it's ruining her complexion.

I will not say one more word, wonderfull Charlene.
I am surprised to see that the Baroness of Massy is so slim, is she ill?
It is strange to see all this women which are separat or divorced, Princess Caroline, Princess Stephanie, Baroness of Massy. Prince Albert is the one man of the family here at the Gala,

I think Renata4711 was referring to the link I had posted above hers, Elisabeth-Anne
and Mélanie had been pictured but not mentioned within the article.

It's the Ocean tiara. The wedding gift from Albert.

Sorry agogo ,but I don´t agree with you .... I like Princess Caroline´s dress ; it is really different and original.... I am bored of strapless mono-colour dresses .....
In addition , as the president of AMADE , Princess Caroline is trying to promote new designers coming from undeveloped countries. Great for her :flowers .... IMO she is the only one of the family who can wear this type of designs , because she has innate style .... Charlene or Stephanie could never wear an outfit like this ....

He generally wears a white jacket to the Red Cross Ball.

I'm sorry Charlotte might be able to pull it off but the design is to youthful for Caroline. What she wore for the wedding was also terrible on her and Steph looked good. Its as if the sisters have switched roles on who dresses better.
I miss the days when the sisters really dressed for a Ball. No Trio and Chris Levine and his wife are missing as well.
