Does anyone know?
Some years ago I read in an biography about Princess Grace that she
has had two miscarriages, the same was said in some reviews in the 1990s. I remember having read and heard that she had lost one baby when being on a visit to the USA with Rainier, Caroline and Albert and that this was the reason why there are several years between Albert’s and Stéphanie’s birth. Doctors had told her not to try again after the second miscarriage, but they did nevertheless, and little Stéph was born… I’m not the one for any gossip, but I’d like to know, if some of you know more about that. As a woman myself I always consider the loss of a baby as a very tragic moment in life…

Yes, it's true..But I don't know if the second was also in that time between Albert and Stephanie. In some papers there was mentioned that she had one miscarriage after Stephanie, in a time when Stephanie was little maybe one aor two years old, but don't know how reliable is that. (seen photo on Corbis once..in description was..pregnant Princess Grace with husband and daughter Stephanie in London to interview some prominent nannies..year was 1966 or 1967..but don't know if that is trust source..)
Neverthless, it is so sad and tragic for every woman to experience that..:(
