Thanks for posting that many great covers, flowerpower!

As to the second cover in your last post, it's interesting to see that Point de Vue already used a photomontage, it's an official pic of Rainier mixed with a pic of one of Grace's films. I had not thought that Point de Vue used photomontages that early :)

The only thing we can say after looking at all the covers, is that Princess Grace was a real beauty.
And it is also difficult to choose the best pictures out af all the covers posted.

And although she may not have thought so, Grace aged very well. She was a real beauty all through to the end of her life.

wonder what happened to that tiara with what look to be cherries in post #64? i don't remember ever seeing it, i know monacos colors are red and white but it really isn't very pretty, but on Grace it looks beautiful

This one ? http://www.theroyalforums.com/forums...0&d=1121764825

I think it was specially made for Albert's birth. Blooming of heir or some such. I have not seen it since either but it could be in the vault with a lot of other custom pieces that were worn for the special occasion and then put away.

I wonder how Grace's jewelry was divided among her children?
Most likely Caroline got the majority as she would need it. Stephanie isn't into doing (nor does she need to be) the fancy public stuff so she may have just received a few things that meant something to her. I suspect Albert got several pieces (including tiaras) that the future HSH will wear.
I remember reading somewhere that while Grace had her engagment and wedding rings on while lying in state that she was not buried with them. I would think Caroline and Stephanie got them after Rainier passed.

yes thats the one sounymona
thanks for the info. i would assume most of her jewels would stay in the family for Alberts wife and Caroline and Stephani to use when needed. It would be a shame to break up her collection with earrings going one way and the necklace another, seems sad somehow.

I think Grace looks beautiful with that dark hair.

She seemed to have let it go dark after Stephanie was born and then started dyeing it a lighter blonde in the 1970s.

Suonymona, I posted one of the pics you asked for in one of the late princess Grace threads some months ago, maybe you'll still find it there :)
Several more covers:
