In the years that have passed, we--today's generation have lost another great leader. The tiny principality of Monaco was brought into the spotlight when Prince Rainer married American actress Grace Kelly who died in a car crash in 1985. We can all now take a sigh of relief that Prince Rainer has now reunited with Princess Grace after a long wait.

Thanks for the link. It was a refreshing article amidst all that has come out so far about the late Prince. How true indeed that Prince Rainier remained his dignity throughout it all - throughout the public and private pain. May he rest in peace.

When a father passes away, memories awake.
Which stories did he tell us? How did he take away our pain whenever our knees were bleeding? What did he leave with us?
When a father passes away, every child cries. Silent tears, desperate tears and tears full of sweet thankfullness........Adieu 'Papa' Rainier...

We already have a picture thread of Prince Rainier as a husband, father and grandfather. Let's keep this thread for information and communications on Prince Rainier's funeral and tributes to him.
If you would like to post pictures, this thread is the one for pictures: Prince Rainier: a father, a grandfather....
Thank you.

On Yahoo! News you can find some pics of the Palace's chapel and mourners entering the Palace today. It rained in Monaco today. :(

On the Palace's site there is a Tribute for Prince Rainier, there you can find the complete funeral programme. They will be having like they did when Princess Grace a reception at the Palace after the funeral on Friday.
