Sorry but I haven't made up any story. I 'not that clever. If I were, I'd have made a fortune by writing novels! Unfortunately I happened to read it on two different popular mags. The first time when Daniel was caught having an affair with Fili Houteman, later it was published on "Chi" on the occasion of Char's 18th birthday.
Besides I don't know how things work where you live, but I know very well how things work where I live, and I don't want to get libbelled for that.
So you must call someone else a liar. Right?

Grace is right when saying that a religious person shouldn't be superstitious. Princess Caroline is a Roman Catholic, and as far as I know our religion strongly condemns superstition. As far as I am concerned anyone may believe what they want.

The reason I posted my opinion is that I read the note of a young member that seemed to be quite upset. If I'm not mistaken there may be some underage members in this group, therefore I take the liberty of asking to any of the moderators to close this thread. Thanks!

I don't believe I called you a liar just seemed you implied you made the story up and what I was saying.

There are different ways to remove a curse. Depending on what the curse involved. Witch's keep all spells and such in a Book of Shadows and Grimoire's, we don't give these out. Any "witch" who does is not a real one and doesn't go by the sacred rules. I am not telling you anything new or secretive so I am not breaking any of them. The Grimaldi family if cursed, will have to deal with the consequences of the actions of an ancestor.:(

Please forgive my simplistic logic, but couldn't the family just do something incredibly selfless for the people they wronged? And if they are no longer in existence, couldn't they do such an act for someother person(s)?

I know it sounds silly, but this curse, if it exists, is just wasting time. Let's move on. It's been long enough...

Default How Grimaldi's family can get rid of Curse?

I don't know which one is true, which one if false.

Someone said curse happed to Grimaldi's family because....

- According to Larry King, he said once, P. Rainier II promised a woman that he would get married with her, but he didn't so that woman cursed Grimaldi's family.

So I want to know that ......Who was she? Anyone knows her name? And who was a woman that P. Rainier II got married?

- According to a person from this board wrote that once, P. Rainier II kidnapped and raped a woman, so that woman cursed Grimaldi's family.

- According to another person from this board wrote that P. Rainier II loved his wife (princess) so much, when she died, Prince didn't buried her body, but burned her body in the castle, because she was a true love of Prince. So, when anyone of Grimaldi's member did not get married with a true love wife/ husband, curse will happen to that person (a person whom prince / princess get marry) but not happen to Grimaldi's member.

Do you think that is there anyway that Grimaldi's family can get rid of curse?

i personally do not believe in curses. there must be some rational explaination to it all. about the grimaldi curse, i think it's just a concoction made by people and then the stories just spread out. while the bad things happened to the family have not really helped the curse story to die down, i think that coincidences are just that, coincidences.

but maybe somebody would like to differ :o

I heard the Grimaldis were cursed by a young maiden who was raped by an early Monagasque prince. Now whether you believe in curses or not (and I really don't either), the Grimaldis family does have a history of marriages ending badly or tragically. For more info on the family/their martial history, I suggest The Grimaldis of Monaco by Anne Edwards.

Default the Curse of Grimaldi

http://www.leninimports.com/prince_r...html#grimaldis

It dates back to 1297 when the first Grimaldi, Francesco the Spiteful, tricked the principality's defenders by disguising himself as a monk seeking sanctuary, only to slaughter them all.

Legend says the curse then plagued the family for generations.

In 1515 Claudine of Monaco fuelled the jinx when she warned on her deathbed that no Grimaldi should ever ally himself with a foreign power.

That was exactly what Rainier did when he took American Grace Kelly as his bride. She loved being royal, yet pined for the life of an actress. She suffered from eating disorders and a series of miscarriages. The curse seemed to be exacting a terrible revenge on her. But worse was to come.

I never heard about Grace having eating disorders (although I knew she had a weight problem and drank too much in her later years).

Why does everyone think the Grimaldis are cursed? I know any number of families that have had tragedies or problems throughout the years, just as great or greater than this family. Plus, they have had the curse of not having all the Grimaldi money at their disposal. This is just silliness.

ABC News reports that Prince Rainier I is said to have raped a young woman seven centuries or so ago. According to legend, she became a witch to get revenge and cursed the family.

I don't know...I sort of believe in curses. While I don't know exactly if there is a curse on the family (because maybe not all love relations have gone down the drain between when the curse might have begun and now, I'd have to look that up) but I don't completly doubt that there is a curse.
