Default Engagement of Prince Rainier & Grace Kelly
beautiful pictures. does anyone have a good close up photograph of the engagement ring? i have read that it was 12 carats emerald cut diamond. i've never seen it though.

I think it was the film "High Society" that the engagement ring Grace Kelly wears in the film is actually her real one from Ranier. So maybe there are close-ups in the film.

I found some pics form Hogh Society with her wearing a ring, so maybe this is the ring.

Yes Stephanie wore it to 1982's Red Cross Ball, pics can be found on the Retrospective thread. Apparently the bottom part was removed or redone.

No Stephanie wore a later Dior dress to the Ball in /82 that was empire cut from his later collections/circa/1957/58

Your photos are great,Queenfothelight.The second one ,with her dog Oliver,is very funny.In the last one ,she has received in a box,her wedding shoes.I have seen this box in the Grace kelly exhibition both in Monaco and Paris.
