Did you know that when Rainier found a nail or a screw on the street, he would pick it up and say: this could serve some day.

Really? How sweet! :)
Did you know .... Caro, Albert and Steph adored their summer holidays at grandma's and grandpa's house in the States.
They also loved the summer camps in Pensilvania.
Steph about it : " In mommys family everyone was a great sportsfreak. My siblings and I spend many of our summer holidays at my grandma's house and so we have been 'infected' at a very young age. For four years I went to a summer camp in Pensilvania where we practiced all types of sports all day long. My grandma and all the rest of my family also went there in their young years. There, we made two teams , the red and the white, and we had a real competetion which ended with someone handing the Cup to the team captain of the winning team. When we lost this meant nothing but tears ...'

..some about Caroline..or better to say little Caroline..:p
From "The American Weekly"; article "The Other Caroline", written by R. Francine
"..Caroline Grimaldi is one young reader who will never take TV seriously as she takes her books. Once, while visiting her maternal grandmother in Philadelphia, the bilingual "other Caroline" amused her entire family by singing along with the performers - and blithely translating our American commercials into French.":p :)

Did you know what Princess Grace got as wedding gift from Prince Rainier?
Perfume Fleurissimo as Prince Rainier commissioned prestigious Anglo-French fragrance house Creed to develop a fragrance blend of violet, iris, rose and tuberose, especially for his princess.

Everyone probably knows this but I just found out. Did you know that Caroline's father-Prince Rainer(sp?) had Marilyn Manroe suggested to him as a possible wife before he went on to marry Grace?

I read that too, and he also seemed to have asked Linda Christian to marry him, after the death of Tyrone Power...

Apart from "Carostefal" and "Stalca", there was one boat more named after Grimaldi children. In 1963 Prince Rainier named family's new yacht "Albecaro II" . Can't wait to find out if there was one combination(boat) more..
