Does anyone know if there was a Rose Ball in 1991? I know Stephanie attended the Red Cross Ball w/o Caroline, because she was in mourning.

I believe it is from 1992. I do not think she attended any official functions in 1991 until National Day. That way she was in mourning for a year.

Thinking better you must be right memo
Pss caro didn’t attend R.C. Ball 1991, so it makes sense

she look so sad in this pics, it breaks anyone heart’s to think what was going in her heart… to lose her mother and husband in the space of 9 year, it’s a terrible twist of Destiny.

Nice photos of Caroline and the rest of the family. I was wondering does anyone have any pictures of the 2006 Rose Ball? Thanks in advance!

I don't understand why everyone is so 'wowing' about the Bal de la Rose. It is known as an overpriced sumptuous überkitsch party, in majority attended by Russian mafia, tax-refugees, moneylaunders, outmanoeuvred actors and botoxed models.

The number of royals can be counted on one-and-a-half hand and there even are no diademes, sashes, white-ties or whatsover to be seen. Instead you see 'ladies' with sunglasses indoors. Men in white tuxedos. 'Business partners' at the main table. It could not be more a place to avoid. And that is exactly what all the other Royal Houses do..... Avoid this wrong, wrong Ball.

Bal de la Rose? Nice to comment on Stéphanies gowns. More than that, you can not make of it. A simple republican state banquet in Portugal has more grandeur.

.
It´s not for royals and i don´t think they are invited, it´s a benefit party, anyone who pays the 1500 euros may attend.

It's just an excuse to see pics of Caroline. Who cares about the other "guests"? ;-)

Indeed. Too bad the Croix-Rouge Monegasque has no any problem with accepting money with a clearly dubious background from people they should not want to be associated with.... And too bad that the princely family keeps itself not far away from them.

Who cares where the money comes from? The banks in Monaco are full of money of an uncertain origin, bit what can they do? Any way i expect these parties anxiously every year to see my favourite princess. BTW, the Ball de la Rose collects money for the P. Grace Foundation, for the Croix Rouge there´s another ball.

The Rose Ball of 1982 had amazing theme: evereone in white. I like especially Stephanie's dress. I know each Red Rose ball has different "theme", the last one was reggae. I woner who is responsible for choosing it every year. Wasn't it Grace choosing "themes" in the past?
